The Oracle of Omaha is always prescient on money and capital. Seeing Warren and Charlie are still up there doing what they have been doing well in the past 5+ decades is really encouraging. They are part of the reasons US is the hyper-power. And they are what capitalists are supposed to be.

US was a hyperpower when the WW2 generation was in charge. they're gone now. they've been replaced by the boomers and genX who grew up entitled and sheltered.

most WW2 generation was born in the 1900-1920's when US has the same % foreign born as today at around 14%. so they know how to work in a world of diversity.

boomers were born in 1950's-1970's with the lowest ever % of foreign born in the US at around 5%.

Should just approve sales to Taiwan for hundred of billions and just assure China that they won't be delivering them for decades. The military companies get to profit without increasing tensions between the strait for China, and Taiwan can delude themselves that they'll be safe, win-win for all.
