So let's recap. Myanmar basically destroyed. Kazakhstan attempted coup failed, but still managed to damage it economically. Now Pakistan under a soft coup.

Let's see who will be next.
Cambodia?
I've read that the people the US supported in Myanmar which came to power was quite anti-China, but then after coming to power they quickly got a lot more neutral lol.

Besides these cases, other countries in the world are also watching these things happen (especially neighbours), and we're in fact seeing actions against the US (such as against their NGO's etc.)

Previous government was fine for China. Economic corridor was doing fine, trade was up, influence up, BRI up etc.

A destroyed Myanmar is not in China's interests even if it the current gov is more friendly to it than the previous gov.

I'd say take one step further, like reinforcing the house and arming the place with a lot of traps. Gonna have to stockpile all that ammunition and guns to defend yourselves when the cannibals starts trying to get in the house.

If you are in the US, I’d against such traps because as in Katko v. Briney, you may be found liable for compensatory damages any bodily harm done to a home invader because protection of personal property does not justify the use of deadly force.

At the rate things are going, the Americans will topple every pro-China government in the world.
But actually, China made many diplomatic and economic inroads to developing countries while America grew hateful, thus thwarting all of America's attempts to harm Chinese global trade during the trade war. China constructed many relationships to protect its trade while it grew under that protection and an America blinded by its rage and desperation into forgetting self preservation, succumbed to self-inflicted harm.
China will scream ‘non interference’ all the while Americans are laughing.
China always speaks calmly while the Americans are screaming making fools out of themselves. They haven't had a single damn thing to laugh about, except at their own expense, since COVID first broke out and they thought it would tank China.
This is how great power politics have always happened.
Except that the growth of Chinese hard power has turned America from (mostly) a world charmer into a desperate pushy salesman.

Another country that can’t control American infiltration of their country. Truly pathetic.

Why bother being an independent country and just officially be an American colony.

Disappointing, but it doesn't actually change the reality on the ground. The fact is, during this entire episode, there wasn't a single protest in support of the opposition. Whereas the rallies supporting the PTI government have been overwhelming over the past month. The biggest rally in the history of Pakistan took place in Islamabad just recently, supporting the PTI government. What matters is the upcoming election. The open question is what can the opposition do to sabotage the election with their 'electoral reforms.' Let's see.

Either way, foreign policy isn't in control of the politicians in Pakistan. No sitting government can challenge the Army's dictates on foreign policy. What's under threat is domestic development, that's what the opposition can potentially sabotage. But they don't have much time now, elections aren't far away.

Well if the US really wanted to make a point, they can easily send another prominent politician.

I gave the issue some thought. Now that I think about it the whole thing was a staged event to gauge PRC response.

As we all know the Democrats will probably be obliterated during the upcoming midterms. They desperately need a diplomatic “win” abroad to bolster domestic support. What better way to do that than sending Pelosi to Taipei? However, doing so has a chance of backfiring if Beijing responds in a disproportionate manner. So how to proceed?

I have a feeling that Pelosi has actually tested positive COVID a few days before the result was made public. They held the results close to the chest because they wanted to see how China will respond to it first. What better way to do that than leak the information to Japanese/Taiwanese media while officially neither confirming or denying it? If China “plays dead”, they would send Pelosi to Taiwan on a later date to reap political benefits with no major repercussions. But if the Chinese military came out and threatened action as they did before in December 2020, they can simply say that Pelosi has COVID and can’t go to Taiwan now.

China's non-interference policy exists because propping up so-called friendly regimes is s sure way to create more problems for yourself down the road.

The US may be very good at destroying, but they can't build anything. China can work with those countries regardless of what government is in power.

Tsai: It's OK! American with COVID is OK! Send her anyway!

Biden looks at Xi, Xi opens a walnut with his bare hands and eats just the shell.

Biden: We can't. Unfortunately, last night, she died. [Gunshot in the background] From COVID.
