this honestly scares me. sure the guy is cold blooded analyst and showed a lot of conviction. But this is stuff of crusaders. He is treating nationalism and ideology with religious fervor. And his willingness to go to war can only find parallel in some parts of the middle east.
But scares me more is it's not difficult to imagine there might be people in Taiwan fostering similar mindset. I really hope it doesn't come to that.

Amazing he predicted everything, but how is he so confident that Ukraine would win? Did he expect NATO assistance or no fly zone? would he still feel that Ukraine is winning based on todays events?
seems like strong evidence the Ukrainians were especially preparing for a war with Russia for many years. Knowing this, I think the Russians never expected to roll over the Ukrainians and their progress so far is impressive.
Cold blooded analyst sure, but completely self-destructive and stuck in a tunnel vision. Its easy to predict what Russia would do and their possible plans for invasion, when you bloody keep pushing them and giving them a reason to do it.
He wasted his talent over his stubborn goal to get into NATO and for 'muh nationalism', it would have been better to diplomacy with Russia and keep options available, but now they put themselves in a road of no return, where either they win against Russia and join NATO, or cease to exist as a nation.
The core of the strategy as well is that Ukraine will get help from NATO, in order to defeat the Russians, but look at what happened. NATO didn't even dare fight Russia face to face, and only provided covert support via weapon supplies and intel. Imagine putting your entire fate to an organization who you don't have any leverage on or guarantees. You might have a better shot at convincing the Russians to let you go freely than this. You can tell the strategy is not working as intended as well, with Zelensky constantly begging and shaming NATO, EU and US for not giving them help.
And yes there will always be a someone like him in any country and region like Taiwan, the difference is if these people call the shots like him as the military advisor or they will die as a nameless soldier in the battlefield.
