While India will likely surpass China in population at the end of this decade, deep problems at the societal, cultural and institutional level will prevent it from realizing its full potential. India will not rise to challenge China unless serious reform occurs, of which there are no signs of.

I support a Sino-Russo-Indian alliance. However it's a shame India refuses to budge on the border issue. They would be the biggest beneficiaries of such an alliance.
India is a big market for Huawei, highspeed railway and other clean energy products. China can really rebuild India's infrastructure.

This is the EU trade chief Valdis Dombrovokis who gave a speech at an event today together with the American trade chief Katherine Tai. The solution to the Russian invasion of Ukraine according tot him is to pursue more western global hegemony by forcing the preferred western economical and trade model through other countries throats (read muh neoliberalism and free and open market and no state intervention in the economy because unfair in the neoliberal Bible) through trade treaties, economical frameworks and through bonding together at the WTO. Are there still Chinese people who want to throw Russia under the bus? I would say we need to battle western hegemony more fervently so that we are more secure in our future as a people and so that we are 100 percent sure that we can craft our own economic future free of their interventionism and suppression.

I think Maggie Thatcher and Reagan tried something like this in Africa with democracy and human rights thrown in as extras and failed miserably.
