It almost fell vertically..

Obviously i am not a pilot, but shouldn't the pilot be able to control the airplane to go lower in order to preserve speed and then try to crash-land with a low angle of attack?

Very few mechanical failures ever end up with a complete 90 degree pitch down crash into terrain. even in worst case scenarios, while it might be pilot suicide, its more likely geopolitically related

I hope Xi meeting in Saudi in April is escorted by J-20 and he not on a modified Boeing 747/7xx

If they can find the blackbox and esp if voice and fdr are intact a preliminary cause will likely only be several weeks/months.

In due time we will find out the names and occupation of the passengers that tragically passed away. The occupation of the passengers must be an area where scrutiny is needed to see if they worked in sensitive strategic sectors that is key to China’s national security. This will give a big clue if foul play was involved.
