Berlin wants Trump-trashed trade deal back on table

Germany is calling for discussions about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) between the EU and the US, which were halted by former US President Donald Trump, to be revived.

“We should resume negotiations on a transatlantic free trade agreement,” Christian Lindner, the finance minister of Europe’s number-one economy, told the German business newspaper Handelsblatt.

“Especially now in the crisis, it is becoming clear how important free trade is with partners around the world who share our values.

It’s always about their values isn’t it… even when it is shown not to work at all. Maybe they should be thinking more about what got them into this mess and how to resolve it instead of joining with the USA to sink themselves further, it’s like they won’t be satisfied until they end up wiping out a large proportion of there populations in the process. Hence their values seem to be more about themselves and only themselves, even if they have to sacrifice their hearts to do it. I guess all this does is confirm my general view that the west is becoming more and more heartless and China/rest of the world becoming more and more enlightened as a whole to the real evil that the west is lead by.
if a new world order does come about, it certainly won’t be lead by the west because they have shown themselves to be completely unworthy of such a role

I guess the EU will have its chlorinated chicken and GMO frankenfoods after all.

I have been watching the EU's economic stats for quite a while. If you look at the economic loss with the sanctions they placed on Russia in 2014 and you add the Iranian sanctions on top of that the US trade does not compensate for it. At all. And the EU just shut itself off the Chinese market at the same time the US got itself better conditions which allowed companies like Tesla to operate in China.

The US always wins against its allies. Every harvest season is producing great benefits to it. It is slowly eating its allies at this point

"Breaking: China's national broadcaster CCTV reports, quoting.emergency response department in southern Guangxi, that a Boeing-737 operated by China Eastern Airlines carrying 133 people on board has crashed, leading to fire. Casulties unknown."

RIP. While nobody can predict accidents, its pertinent to mention that Boeing is going downhill safety wise which was evident from the 737 Max crashes. This particular aircraft was a 737-800 and was delivered in 2015. Not even that old. This shows that production quality of these aircrafts is doubtful.
If one investigates he'll find that Boeing disasters in USA is close to non existent. Infact the last major passenger aircraft accident that took place due to technical reasons was in 1996.
Is Boeing making substandard aircrafts for export purposes? Needs to be investigated.

The day Boeing goes down, I'll be crying tears of joy

in China, when it comes to diplomacy, attention is paid to details, no mistake is allowed, but sometimes people simply don't care that much.

“Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, said it was "remarkable" that a Chinese summary of the call was published before the two leaders had even finished speaking.”

Can we be sure the call hadn’t already ended and Xi logged off but Biden didn’t realise for 5 minutes and continued to talk nonsense to himself and all his underlying were too scared to disturb him?
