Fukuyama made a controversial prediction in 1989 arguing that humanity has reached the end of history, which is the end-point of mankind's ideological evolution and universalization of Western liberal democracy as the final form of human government. And now he is predicting Russia's defeat based on the same theory which has been disproven.
