A google employee, an attention seeking loser, you can do better than that SCMP. Beside, the outpouring of supports for buying Russian products have dwarf that of this small shop. And the bias author needs to understand most Chinese are upset about the double standards, mixing of politics with everything from sports, arts, to science and disproportional display of self-righteousness and hyprocrites.

A Chinese employee at Google China, who refused to reveal his identity, said he donated US$1,000 – with the same amount matched by his company – to help Ukrainians.

“Wars cannot be rationalised,” he said. “No matter what, Ukraine people will be the ones suffering the most during the war. My donation is for humanitarian reasons

I also disapprove of any diplomatic excuses [Vladimir] Putin used to wage the war. I support anything that’s on the opposing side of this and the autocratic governments such as Russia and China.
“I hope that the pro-democracy movements in the West can prevail in Russia and China, and possibly overthrow the autocracies.”

Xu Xiaodong, a Chinese mixed martial artist with 241,000 Twitter followers, posted his visit to Kievruss earlier this week.

“Not sure how to support, so I went to the 22-year-old Kievruss restaurant in west Beijing for lunch today,” he wrote on Twitter. “Everything I ate was Ukrainian food, which made me feel better.
“Wish the war be over and the war criminals go to hell.”

“War is one autocrat sending one civilian’s son to kill another civilian’s son, so we must be anti-war,” Lee said.

“Civilians are always going to be the most direct victims of the catastrophe, and we are all civilians, so we should think about war from the perspective of a civilian, rather than hotheadedly be excited over war, that’s not normal.

“I can only stand for myself and say sorry to Ukrainian people, and I hope that Ukraine people would be nice to our Chinese people who are still yet to be evacuated from the country.”

Joke’s on him. Kievruss singers are ex-Soviets, some of whom are from Ukraine, others from Russia, but not a liberal hair among them.

Just to ask, what do u guys think of this?
To me, if the USA looks strong on the camera, but ends up losing Ukraine to Russia, wouldn’t all that bullcrap mean nothing at the end.
Russia cuts off supply to Europe and America and inflation tears them apart meaning that without sending soldier to either places, Russia could drive them to hyperinflation and economic collapse and Taiwan in that situation would be in position to act due to the alternative meaning that economic collapse will head there way soon after. Only through Chinas aid can Taiwan survive. This is especially true for Russia as well. I am disappointed in what this chap had to say, the USA may seemingly won the hearts of the western media (who are easily tricked mind you) but may have set the stage for the ultimate downfall as a Russia without restraint is going to be a true nightmare of a USA that is so very close collapse it’s not funny. In the end of all this, with the USA completely broke and starved of resources, the media in the USA will mean nothing but an excuse to leave this hate filled mation to its own devices. Hence I say, in this crisis, the USA has won nothing.
The US economy has little exposure to the Russian one. The big losers will be the EU and Russia not to mention the Third World. High energy and food prices will have most impact on the poor. China is probably the biggest winner from this since EU high energy prices will mean their industry, which is in increasingly direct competition with China, will become less competitive. So China and US biggest winners here. But eventually US will try to do the same decoupling of Western economy with China they did with Russia.

It is true that Russia will suffer in the near term but ultimately they will Come out ahead but also note that while the USA gains in The near term, in the long term this may not be for the best given this crisis gain are purely media and political gain. None of the things happening in Ukraine will help the USA recover from their domestic issues in relation to inflation and such.
Still I think we can all agree that Europe is the ultimate loser in this crisis and really I see. I way back for the block unless they change their stance which I see as impossible in the near future. Still a weak Europe will serve as a warning to everyone as to what happens when bad decisions are made and ultimately people need to take this into account going forward. I notice that the USA is quick meek when it comes to sending support to their Allies so this is something other nations need to take into account with the USA going forward so it’s not like the USA has won outright, just this incident shows a critical weakness that is hidden by the MSN but it is still there as Ukraine can now attest to. Of course the USA would want to decouple but given how bad of a shape the usa is in right now and the increasing amount to damages done to there supply chains and infrastructure, if they choose to do it later the damages to the USA will become irreversible but then again China will have the time to prepare for that
