This is actually a very good take.

USA pulled out of Afghanistan so it could fully focus on China along its Indo-Pacific framework.

But now this Ukraine thing has blown up, and USA has to divert its attention to Europe.

This means it once again has less energy to deal with China.

Once get China "gets lucky".

AHAHAHAHAHA.

I am finding it quite strange as to how come the USA is failing this badly when it comes to military hardware. I thought super powers are supposed to be super careful when dealing with and maintaining equipment like this. Somehow, the idea that maybe China has an answer for every weapon in the US arsenal is starting to sound more and more likely and that the day that the USA finally engages in a real fight is the day that the USA will forever cease to be a global power

It's always been like that. They just hide it and American denial is at play. If it were China, they would loudly be laughing at poor Chinese quality. Just like Americans don't want to hear about why those F-22s in Florida a few years back were damaged by a hurricane that hit. Half of the US's F-22 fleet is grounded due to various and many maintenance problems. They were damaged because there were so many there waiting to be fixed, they couldn't get out of Dodge and fly out and they couldn't find enough protective shelter for them.

I would guess it's a combination of complacency and poor work ethics, they had it easy for 3 decades. The guys who sent Apollo to the moon have long retired or are dead, and the smart guys are in hedge funds. Those joining the military are drop outs, poor hispanics and newly arrived Filipinos who genetically excel at following orders/being servants/fodder.

Whether it's that woman faking testing data for the submarine steel or Boeing engineers outsourcing the MAX flight software to Indians, it's all part of a downward trajactory of an entitled complacent degenerate generation milking the last drops of what their granddads did, before the house of cards comes down crashing.
From what I heard, these problems are more or less caused by leadership, and this issue is found in all branches. The leadership is basically filled with sycophants who aren’t qualified to be leaders. They treat their personal like crap, implement unnecessarily complicated and useless policies, stunt career growth out of greed, and waste money on themselves or stupid s**t. As a result, morale collapses, and the quality of work falls. Then, a lot of good officers and enlisted personal leave while the sycophants stay. Plus, like what you said, these people are riding on a high that was built up by their ancestors. It’ll take a Korean War like scenario to sweep them out, but they definitely don’t have the luxury or time to reform like what the US Army did during that war.

And they always get childishly angry at China for it. There was a British miniseries back in the 1980s called Shaka Zulu. It's about the rise of the African warrior king. They portrayed him as a mad man where when his mother died he was so grieved and jealous everyone else still had their mothers that he ordered them to be killed. That's the same mentality of the West when they target China and then something else distracts them from targeting China. They'll actually assign blame on China because they got distracted by something that has nothing to do with China. Just like after Europe's official exit from the Iraq War, the EU openly said they wanted to punish China because China was smart enough not to waste their time there while the Europeans did. They want to spread the pain. If they suffer then everyone else has to suffer along with them. If they portrayed Shaka Zulu like that to paint him as a mad man, what does that make them?

Now that is something I didn’t know, the fact that half of the USA’s finest jet is down for repairs, which may not come given all the supply issues they have

Yes that's what was exposed that half of the US's F-22s were grounded when those F-22s were reported damaged by the hurricane that hit Florida a few years back.

Haha. One day China is going to bring justice, by let these idiots kill themselves in their sleep from stuffing themselves too much. A nation that is declining so rapidly like the USA doesn’t deserve a place on the world stage.
I do find it funny that the USA regard the cancelling of nord storm 2 as a win when I can only see this as a long term win for Russia and China. The American copies must be at full strength

Remember that part of the plans of the Republican PNAC was to invade North Korea. Now that the US is disengaging from the Middle East they might try to invade North Korea in this decade. THAAD is basically useless against the Chinese ballistic missiles. There are just too many of them. But it might be enough to counter the limited amount of North Korean nukes.

Honestly, I feel that the US collapse began the moment it lost the Soviet Union as a rival and by the time recognized its own decline it was too late. Without a near peer competitor, America became far more arrogant and complacent, turning in upon itself for grandiose ideas of exceptionalism and uninhibited self-degeneracy. It is often the enemy or competitor that is the biggest teacher and incentive for growth. Look at China, was it not Trump's ban that supercharged its domestic semiconductor industry or the allegations of Uyghur genocide that greatly helped Anta and other homegrown brands or the challenge of Tesla that incentivized China to develop its own EVs. I'm actually kind of worried not only for my home country about its decline but for China's as it has historically turned inward and complacent without a near peer challenger unlike Europe whose constant warfare and rivalry created innovation and development.
