Yeah, they do it all the time. All it really does is postpone the day that the USA has to pay their debt. The day will come when the USA loses it super power status and ends up physically and mentally beaten. Only then, when they are forced to really play, they have only 2 options, to either pay in gold or pay in blood. Considering how little true wealth the USA has, it may end up being the latter, in extreme numbers and I get the feeling that this day is not very far away
