I don't know if there are actually millions of starving Afghans, but it doesn't seem far fetched to expect quite a significant number of impoverished Afghans under crippling US sanctions.
I agree with @victoon said, it wouldn't take that much to avert starvation in a country of only 30 million people. The real problem is how to deliver those supplies.
As for future considerations, the proverb 救急不救穷 comes to mind. Once the immediate crisis is alleviated, then China can work with the Afghanistan government to build economic relations.
No shit. But geopolitically, why should China encourage or support Seoul-led Korean Reunification, when South Koreans are anti-Chinese racist savages and White worshippers? Your anti-SJW rant is great, but Chinese should keep the Koreans divided as much as possible for as long as possible and arm NK to the teeth with nuclear bombs. This will avoid South Koreans re-claiming Gando/Manchuria from China in future just like that ungrateful cunt neighbor (Vietnam) did post-unification despite tremendous Chinese aid to the latter. South Koreans will still worship White and Hate Chinese, even after Reunification, I can guarantee it.

Please do not use a strawman argument, it's a logical fallacy. Where do I mention Korean reunification? You replied to me first remember? Besides lesser and middle powers playing off larger powers is simply how the game of geopolitics is played as nation-states will always act in self-interest first. Being upset that they don't want to be overly reliant on one power is acting as if someone bluffing in poker is a huge travesty because they were dishonest.
The national level response should be the same as the individual level response to "Go back to China": punch them in the face or arm their enemies (North Korea) with nuclear bombs.
@In4ser bro it may take decades or the next generation that had interacted and experience racism. I do support Chinese student studying abroad, it is an eye opener either good or bad, there are No excuses for Naivety, it's a jungle out there and one must learn the ropes so to speak. When I was growing up I face constant bullying cause I'm Chinese, I learned to adopt and fight back to earned their respect. And at that Time Chinese martial arts is a "THING", I learn Sanda in Midschool and TKD in high school. So I can fight at street level adequately with scratches and wounds as trophy showing off to girls...lol

True that as there may come a time and place for that. I myself have been keeping in shape, arming and prepping myself for the potential fallout of racist violence here in America, especially if America loses in a war with China (i.e. War in Taiwan). A US victory will probably continue the status quo racism and even pity but losing to China means there's going to be a surge of violence for sure as they will look for scapegoats to blame for American weakness and failure. That's why I don't want war as nothing good will come from it for ABCs like me.
I used to think Dimon was a good banker. but this kind of view is mind boggling. he predicts the US is going to have the best year since the Great Depression. he gives only one piece of evidence: the US customers' balance sheet is the strongest on record.
we all know the strongest balance is due to the fact that Americans used the covid handouts to pay down their debts, and when interest rate is at zero, debt service ratio is supposed to be low. these are by no means intrinsic strength.

Agreed. That's why I'm careful to not let words trigger me. I prefer to respond proportionately in kind. With words, I respond with words as oftentimes humor or charm can disarm hostility but escalating a situation may end up out of control, especially if the other guy is a little bitch with a twitchy trigger finger. That is why while I deeply respect people who are very passionate and loyal but I'm also wary of such qualities as emotions can be used by others as bait to be ambushed.
