‘From China to Russia and beyond, they’re betting America will become more like them and less like us. I do not believe that’
pretty strange sentence to begin with: An American saying America should be more like us.

But Maybe Zhao Lijian would respond: "No, please, you do you. We never wanted you to be like us. Seriously!"

They can have a million stages, but they'll never dare to wage war against China.

Depends on what your definition of "war" is. A kinetic/shooting war, sure. But if the goal of the US/Western powers is to contain China's global status and isolate China economically, then the battles are still being played out with no certain winner of that war at the moment.

War is war. Everything else is not war.

There's nothing uncertain about the outcome. China is on the rise with 1.4 billion people united behind the vision of its leadership. The US is a failing country with its citizens intentionally divided over meaningless issues so that the 1% can continue to hold on to their power.

There is literally nothing the US can do, short of war, that China will not be able to overcome in a matter of time.

Well even on economic front China is clearly ahead, she just signed RCEP with all us allies in asia in which the us is not part of, the americans can't even signed their own infrastructure build back better plan, which is vital for their own economy

I don't know how can the anglos and vassals isolate China economically, have they built an alternative manufacturing and supply chain base in which China is the biggest, cheapest and most reliable?

Also don't they need access to Chinese market which is vital for their own economic growth?

Technologically? Sure the us is ahead in semiconductor, but China is also closing fast

I don't see that, China is obviously winning in most fronts (even semi conductor is closing very very fast)

When asked whether Paris would push for EU action to resist Beijing before the anti-coercion instrument is ready, a senior French government official on Thursday told POLITICO: "Yes. We will take measures very quickly."
Another French surrender coming "very quickly".

I think you mean a tech war. China is too big to isolate economically. How can you isolate a nation 5X bigger than US, world's largest trading nation, world's largest manufacturer, world's largest creditor that is 20% of the world population? It's impossible. That's why China signed EU-China investment deal, World's #1 largest free trade deal (RCEP), and emerged as the only major economy with positive GDP growth despite tariffs/COVID in 2020... Looks like China is winning.
