India actually thinks that all you need to become a manufacturing superpower is infrastructure and investment.

They forget that more than Infra/Investment what you need is a strong work culture/ethics. The thing with WC is it cant be taught but is rather inculcated over generations. Its a reflection of the society in general.

In this case the issue stemmed from Indian Contractors who were in charge of hiring, housing, food etc. India is a massively corrupt society and private sector is no exception. These contractors won the contract by underbidding their competition . So from where else will they make money other than exploiting their own workers.

Is the US media reporting widely this Apple factory owned by foxconn? Most likely more apple products will be made in China. India's sanitation problems is slowing the world's supply chain.

A lot of them. China's overall car demand remains stable while EV's demand is growing tremendously. Thats means that EV demandI is eating into ICE's sales which is where Germany is dominant.

We are still at relatively low numbers to make a big impact but 2022 and 2023 will inflict a lot of damage to German car manufacturers.

Yes they have their own EV models, but Chinese EV manufacturers are wiping the floor on them. This is going to be bad for Germany
There is also the matter of the EV supply chain being China dominant. ICE supply chain which Germany-dominant is getting thrown out of the window with the EV sector growing.

All in all, German automakers are going to have a low of pressure in the coming years

The German car manufacturers still have a premium brand in China, so they should end up ok in the end.

It's the car manufacturers who don't have a premium brand which will really lose out.
Korean, Japanese and French ones come to mind, along with Ford.

Are the Germans going to buy Chinese EV brands?

Maybe slightly off topic but i just came accross this video discussing the increasing movement of the anti-radical feminist movement in South Korea. I was curious enough to listen to the most vocal critic of the movement to try and gain his perspective and understand his opposition. I came to realize that this issue is complex but is firmly rooted from one of western cultural excess that has found home in many countries around the world who's cultural traditions, norms, and mores are being challenged, upended. Whether the challenge to the existing statusquo will usher a better outcome assumed by the movement remains unconvincing at best since the countries this movement originated from are having some of the most difficult time in implementing the idea and where frictions in their society have worsened not improved.

Women and Men are equals then there's no need for gender assignment or even the need to be identified as one, leading to an individual optioning for a label that's non-binary, gender fluidity which can then leads to a genderless society.

I am not certain if the advocate for such radical transformation of our civilized society can anticipate the myriad of issues and extreme consequences it entails. I don't think climate change will end humanity, it's human arrogance, narcissism combined with our monumental stupidity that'll bring forth to our own extinction.
