They have accommodated SpaceX and allowed/ helped it to grow and thrive ? I don't think Tesla can be supported as actively as the Gazoline Auto Lobby is too powerful.

I really think SpaceX is dangerous for China as the capabilities and performance it gives US can diminish lots of China's advantages in Space Technology. Very concerning for China as Space Force is looking at SpaceX with "lustful" eyes. Elon Musk, in that regard, is not exactly that good a figure for China's national security.

A big portion of Indonesian Chineses in 1965-7 did not refuse help, They could not reach the help is correct.
That time A lot of Chinese knew they will be killed, but did not know who where what and how they will be helped.
China sent ships but the refugees count hundred thousands, can you imagine?
And they are scattered in all over Java, kalimantan, Bali, Sumatra, in towns, in big villages far from the port.
When they travelled from their house to port, the ship had already gone. ( Remember , that is 1965-7 )
You said that they did not want to lose anything, it applied only for rich Indonesian Chinese, for middle to poor Indonesian Chinese that time , they only have a little or nothing.
Just use your logic, if you know you will be killed, you will grasp anything you can, right ?

You know that Chinese civil war was not only fought in mainland China but also divided oversea Chinese population into pro-CPC and pro-KMT camps? Prior to 1980s, how many oversea Chinese actually accept PRC as their government instead of an illegitimate rebel group? I guess lots of them took KMT in Taiwan as China and expect protection from ROC, rejecting PRC's help was pretty logical for them.

What they did not know is that the later anti-Communist coup by Suharto expanded to be an anti-Chinese killing because lots of Indonesian communists were ethnic Chinese, and natives just wanted to take that advantage. By this time it is too late for help from PRC, while their own legitimate "country" ROC never came to help. Remember ROC accept dual citizenship, any ethnic Chinese in Indonesia who did not pick up PRC offer is legally ROC citizen if they didn't renounce it.

Elon having large business in China gives the Chinese government extra leverage over him, which is good.

WHT chess when Chinese or Asian people should help popularize Go or Wei Qi around the world. Why do we need to always adopt to Western games when there's a far more older Wei Qi that's actually far more complex than western chess.

Yes you are right, but the difference between pro-CPC and pro-KMT had been very thin in 1965, almost ( if not ) all Chinese at that time had received CPC is the legitimate one. It is not prior to 1980s , it is prior to 1965. The frictions really happened at 1950-1959.
At 1959 there was a government rule that said " Chinese can't trade at county level ", but at the grass root, the rule is perceived to " Chinese can't stay at county level ". that is the "exodus " Fair and unbiased wrote at 1962. But 1965-7 was different issue, the 1965-7 issue was Indonesian Communist Party wanted to overthrow existing government and failed.

Just want to ask your opinion, you said yourself there were two camps, your second paragraph is only about the pro KMT one, ( their own legitimate "country " ROC ) how about the ones that pro CPC? Must they have the same fate as pro KMT ? Just asking, ,in 1965 almost no pro KMT in reality

Its intention is to generate revenue for its Defence sector and create work security for as long as possible.

I don't think it's in China's interest to have India fully de-russianize its military and become a cocktail party of Western Europe/US/Israeli technology. India, even if it doesn't have the money, has the stomach to throw money at Defence. Would you rather have that go to Russia or western nations?

But the thing to note is that India continues to increase weapon purchase from EU/US. A purchase from them is a sale lose for Russia.
