@Crang Yes the only country in ASEAN that fought and won against the American, so they control their own destiny while the rest of us in the region can't as our former colonizer will not cut the leash that bind us to their will.

In these intense geopolitical competition, ASEAN is ripe for the picking, its a stalemate with the US having Singapore as allies while China had Cambodia the main player are sitting on the sideline. Here is where Australia comes in to tilt the situation to their favor and Indonesia is a prime target cause the two interest align. Beijing non interference is a double edge sword, it may garner her friends but alliances is impossible until China change her policy.
