Taiwan Affairs Office changed their tone big time today. When asked what will be done with certain Taiwanese politican who are taunting and saying how come they're not on the Die Hard Secessionist list TAO spokesperson replied "Don't worry, they will get their own opportunity to feel sorry later."

TAO also made clear that plans are indeed being made right now for a cross strait rail link, to be completed by 2035.
Why do I get the feeling China is gonna unzip its massive testicles, and start constructing the tunnel to Taiwan with utter disregard?

"Ima just start blasting a tunnel all the way to Taiwan island from Fujian from RIGHT NOW"

Why do we need Taiwan's permission to drill to their door.

The Taiwan Strait and Taiwan belongs to Chinese territory anyway.

Let the Boring Company commence!

Wednesday’s motion was approved “without discussion” by the EU’s powerful Coreper II body, composed of member states’ ambassadors to the EU, according to multiple officials familiar with the matter.
Normally when a point is adopted by Coreper without discussion, there is “no reason” for the European Council to hold a debate before adopting.

Greens taking the foreign ministry

That means the CIA is taking charge. Surely the CIA is going to hold a neutral stance towards China...

Seems like positive news for China.

1. The current foreign minister of German is not exactly pro-China, so nothing has changed.

2. The way it looks, according to German law about telecom equipment, if there seems to be a deadlock over Huawei at the ministerial level, which the law in Germany says the issue will then go to the chancellor's office, and we know how much the German adhere to their laws. The new chancellor is bit of a China hand, and his party stacked all the most important departments,

This is a very smart way for the Germans to get around this Huawei issue. The Germans will say they followed a democratic process. End of debate and whining.

:D

That's Europe. Germany the biggest economy in Europe, Russia the biggest country in Europe, all using Huawei for 5G, along with other hefty countries like Spain and Italy both NATO members, all using Huawei 5G gear.

A country in Europe that is not using Huawei which seems surprising is Greece, they did not ban Huawei but will not be using it from what I understand. Since they were not using Huawei, they did not change and incurred extra costs. That's business, win some lose some.

Consider the EU economy finished given their actions against Russia and China at the same time. This time, the EU has picked this fight on the wrong side of history and all their crimes during their colonial days to catch up to them and ensure their suffering, starting from this gas crisis along with migrant crisis in bound
