I wouldn't say autistic or that white Americans are all this way. Autistic people are victims of this two faced behavior more than most. Many white Americans are confused by it. That is why so many white Americans drop out of mainstream society to become NEETs or decide to join another society i.e. wannabe blacks, weeaboos, gamers, etc. Mainstream society is confusing and sucks so fk it, just drop out and lie flat.
The reality is, white American society is exhausting to live in. It may have been cool in the 1950s but it aged poorly. They say there's all this freedom but there isn't. While Asian and European children can independently do things at the age of 8 most white American children are under absolute control of their parents in the most basic sense (no freedom of movement without them) until high school.
Then they get conned into taking loans for a university degree that costs tens of thousands and puts them in a deep financial hole starting age 18. Then they graduate to go into a workforce where the average salary is $20 USD/hr... And rent is $1500 USD per month. Then 1/3 of their money gets taken by the government.
Then when they become parents it still sucks. The parents are exhausted because they need to drive their kids around everywhere. Unlike in other countries where kids are independent in all ways but financial at age 12 or so (remember that in the US even walking to school alone or buying at the store is a accomplishment) everything is the responsibility of the parents. In the suburbs high density housing is literally illegal due to zoning. So children never know anyone organically except at school.
End result: children are frustrated, young adults are crushed and parents are exhausted.
