Britain has sent a team of about 10 soldiers to Poland to help Warsaw strengthen its border with Belarus, where groups of migrants have been stranded attempting to cross into the EU.

The troops arrived on Thursday and are expected to spend a few days in the country, including visiting the border at the request of the Polish government to work out if they can repair or toughen the fencing.

I was actually thinking about this and from my experience the Chinese government will have to relax the tough censorship. It will become increasingly hard to censor conversations and will become a game of cat and mouse.

I'm pretty sure the CIA and other alphabet western agencies have infiltrated Chinese social media networks.

Obviously the solution is to strengthen real name verification systems.

In the article it says that the loophole for the bot accounts is coming from shady business registrations. Real names should be clearly linked to these businesses and when a business account is botting or breaking rules then the owner of the business should be punished.

Also algorithms can be implemented to spot bots or suspicious activities.

There are a lot of ways to solve the problem. The issue is as always the lack of data integration from different databases to comprehensively regulate the cyber space

Agreed.

Interestingly the article doesn't say anything about the US companies deleting chinese People's twitter accounts and banning them from Wikipedia when their opinions differ from the prevailing western view.

They tout free speech but censors any differing opinions. Then turn around and say china has a hard time controlling bots online.

Chinese govt needs to better verify and use AI algorithms to take out these troll accounts.

You gotta realise, a lot of the 'shitposting' and obsessive harassment that characterises the 4chan nature of the anglophone internet comes from an unhealthy society; there's a reason why it's called 'weaponised autism' because a lot of the shitposters from the anglosphere come from broken homes and heavily medicated youths.
