Republican Congress in 2022 who will make Biden a lame duck for the rest of his term. Then return of the Trump in 2024 and a split Congress.

By 2024 China’s new silo fields should be up and running so Trump’s natural instincts would be to cosy up to China like he did with Kim and Putin.

Ironically, Trump is the only remotely likely US Presidential candidate who could potentially make nice with China.

I am split on this. You know how Trump and the Republican warmongers roll. I am sceptical on prefering Trump to win the election.

He is far too dangerous, and who knows, maybe even the Congress wouldn't be able to restrain him.

On the other hand, a Trump election would be by far the deadliest blow to the US global hegemony. He would single-handedly give the opportunity to China to become an accepted and recognized, by the rest of the world, superpower
They can cry all they want about communism and "cCp" but the world would gladly open their arms for China to balance a lunatic America

Dangerous times are ahead. The Republicans are warmongers and this is why i am worried for the future. I would rather have a Democrat win and have the US decline steadily instead of suddenly imploding with Trump

The only logical conclusion I can come to is Iranians are kryptonite to Anglo sailors.

They detained the crew of a RN frigate a few years back with something similar.

The time when a president could influence US foreign policy is long gone. I had high hopes with Obama but he turned out no different to the rest.

China have to deal with the American regime as it is, not play the game of which president is better.
