IMO, developments like this by Turkey is good for the "Free World" -- a world free from the US hegemony. Turkey has the 2nd largest army within NATO, thus Russia in particular will welcome this development. Erdogan may be hardly predictable, but it's better than having Turkey as another vassal state of the Empire!! For this regard I appreciate the Sultan-like figure Erdogan. (Just cf. the Brussel-drop Draghi in Italy for instance, and there are plenty examples around).
Spicy, turkey actions is baffling to me, they voted at unhrc critizising China on Xinjiang no doubt at us request
Now they gonna expel us and nato ambassadors
They wanna go against the whole world??? lmao
Some oil-rich Sheikdoms in the ME have even much higher numbers than Turkey, also some small yet resource-rich countries in the South and Central Americas, if solely based on this number they will also be categorically placed in the "Developed" countries and that understanding totally leaving out the industrial capabilities, science and technology mastering -- the capability to build and innovate... the availability and quality of infrastructure, etc. What a hubris. This is why Turkey thinks they're a developed country with 9k GDP per capita.
@bajingan bro because of Bolton new project, a regime change in Turkey. Hope @sequ and @BoraTas can shed more light cause the Duran predicted it 3 months ago and surely Edrogan had come prepared.

I think its important to note that Turkey hasn't expelled the ambassadors, yet.

@Overbom bro Edrogan is a masterful tactician and is a skilled stateman, my concern is sometimes he over reach like the one he did in Libya and the Armenian /Azerbaijan conflict (the real winner is Russia). But he had EU under his palm and know how to play the US and Russia. And here the Neocons with eye on Russia need Turkey absolute loyalty, with Turkey vulnerability due to covid and the economic crisis its a easy target. Bolton want to implement the Neocon dreams of dismantling Russia, they want a Russia of the 90's with a Yeltsin type leadership which they can control (Nalvany).I think its important to note that Turkey hasn't expelled the ambassadors, yet.
It is clear to me that Erdogan is sending a big signal to those countries to back down. If these countries insist on their present course then Turkey might expell them
However, I find it very very unlikely that Turkey will throw them out. IMO Erdogan is mostly using this tactic to divide his opposition inside the country and to drum up nationalism and anti-Western sentiment because of western interference in their country
All in all, Russia and China benefit from this
Yep. Turkey is absolutely crucial to NATO (EU/US).@Overbom bro Edrogan is a masterful tactician and is a skilled stateman, my concern is sometimes he over reach like the one he did in Libya and the Armenian /Azerbaijan conflict (the real winner is Russia). @Overbom bro I can see it coming, a contested election, then protest in the street with the US and EU sanctioning Turkey then a Colored revolution. This playbook had been played all over the world, a SOP in the Hybrid War. Hope the Turks are aware, they are next in line for destabilization.Yep. Turkey is absolutely crucial to NATO (EU/US).
The will 100% back down because they calculate that Erdogan might lose the upcoming election and replaced by a Western-phile politician.
So they will sit it out, while trying to pile in more economic damage to Turkey in order to turn the Turkish people against Erdogan.
This has been partially successful as AFAIK Erdogan's party is now sliding on the polls
They already had a mini-coup some years back which gave the opportunity to Erdogan to purge the military and bureaucracy from some "courageous" and disloyal people@Overbom bro I can see it coming, a contested election, then protest in the street with the US and EU sanctioning Turkey then a Colored revolution.
