So...one of my ancestors on my mom's side was Ambrose P. Hill a Confederate General during the Civil war. That's history and it cannot be changed.

Jefferson and John Quincy Adams were slave owners. However both fought to end slavery in their home state of Virginia. You have to dig into history to find out the truth.

Betcha did not learn this in school..

I'm done..

Yeah but were the slaves treated equally? Could Jefferson and Adams be where they were economically without slavery? The truth of the matter is that they took advantage of slavery to help themselves when it suits them.

It's way too early to say what President Trump will or wouldn't do. But history shows populist politicians tend to deliver on their most important promises to the base supporters. In Trump's case, it means a wall along the Mexico border, one impressive enough for him to pass off on his base as "a beautiful wall." His administration can also withhold some financial aid for Mexico and pass that off as Mexico paying for the wall.

Other must-deliver populist items are making it harder for US multinational corporations to build factories in foreign countries, and repeal/reform of Obama Care. I think passable forms of all of them will be attempted, with great fanfare. There's no end of social, political, and accounting tricks Team Trump could employ to appease Donald Trump's base supporters. But appease them he must, or they'll turn on him.

But it won't be long till the opposition party starts to pointing him out on not keeping up with his campaign promises, and there's plenty of "liberal" media are just waiting for it to happen.

You're making the same mistake that Hillary Clinton and the American media made, thinking of Trump as a typical politician.

You're assuming that Trump cares about re-election.

In case you question Moore's credibility, here's an article from him dating back to July that predicted not only a Trump win, but also the way he was going to win.

Well it's not only Trump but the media well before hand. Anyone reading articles from a lot mainstream media sites that had anti-China narrative before have been warning Trump not to go after China with what he campaigned with and learned from them in the first place. Just goes to show the elite have been peddling who's to blame for US economic problems on the wrong party so they don't blamed. Now you have Trump believing it about to follow through threatening the system that has enriched them the most...
