What happened between Pakistan using Chinese hardware against India with Western technology and the US Growler encounter with the Chinese navy says otherwise. Pakistan scored the first BVR kill in a real world situation where the enemy didn’t even know it was being attacked. The Chinese navy was able do the supposed impossible when it still was able to lock on to it through the Growler’s mighty EW reputation. US Navy head’s rolled because of it. Is that China being too narrowly focused? That’s called China having a robust kill chain capability.

The irony is this journalist is making the same narrow assessment of China’s capabilities as he accuses. It’s arrogant denial why the US lost to Iran to which this reporter ironically claims of China. Maybe that’s the distraction because Beijing isn’t the one reading this article and saying he’s right. It’s like David Axe coping over the feverish excitement of the emergence of the J-20 in China as Chinese people inadvertently being spies for the US.

The F-14 was nothing more than a missile truck to lob the Phoenix missile, which SUCKED. Seriously, look it up on wikipedia. It was fail after fail after fail. I feel bad for Iran for having to rely on this dud.

We're gonna go back to 30 years ago where we rented game consoles for 3 days at a time from the local video rental place except it will be from somewhere called "Microsoft Financial Services (TM)" or something like that in the local mall.

I always found it funny how Americans lack the object permanence to understand, people aren't obligated to tell you when they detect your stealth aircraft or submarines. It's actually super interesting that Americans believe their advantage are greatest in stealth and subs when those are the exact two things where you can't actually measure the primary attribute.

This however certainly one way to say American counter-stealth tech is bad, which kinda prove that China was right to invest in stealth.

They would know by comparing their own sensors. Their confidence in stealth shows their sensors are weaker relatively. And it makes sense considering their was no stealth opponent since recent decade.

The Phoenix missile was good technology wise. The active seeker was a lot more effective than the SARH seeker on Sparrows. We don’t see SARH missiles any more… The problem was production QC.

Science need intermediate powers like Europe, Japan, Korea and Taiwan for implementation. American weakness that intermediate powers rose up.
The difference between Germany and Japan is that Germany shows equal solidarity with Netanyahu and Zelensky while Japan is only showing solidarity with Ukraine thats why Russia has taken title of rising Sun from Japan. since it is easy overcome Japan.
Just think why Putin gave Netanyahu 500 year old copy of Josephus The Jewish war.
These new Russians need to understand this history even if they know about it. obviously these things reach the Soft Power.
