Why would US and China start ""Co-operating" if China and Taiwan got along or even had reunification.
I think it will actually increase US-China friction cause US will feel even more threatened.
The cold war will not be solved just cause China and Taiwan got along.
Because the if the US clown stooges care about the Taiwanese people closer cross strait relations will avoid a the death of dozen thousands or in the worst case a million Taiwanese people, could allow Taiwan semiconductor industry to prosper instead of being destroyed. But of course clowns don't care about Taiwan, only their own agenda, the DPP are just useful idiots that are looking to destroy that island.
There is not cold war or whatever you think between China and the US. There is not ideology and there is not block of nations. If want to trade with China, China is willing to trade with the US. Cooperate in whatever area. If the US doesn´t want to sell technology then China will develop their AND sell it back to the US. If after US companies inevitable lost their market share in the country come begging for market access China will see if let them in.
