I agree with your point, which is why I added relevant details in my previous response. Blindly provoking a bloc war would only play into America's trap. Therefore, I advocate quietly establishing roots and exerting influence alongside friendly nations. Panama's problem lies in its complete subjugation by the United States, whereas in Australia, China possesses certain means to exert counterbalancing influence.
China will not win playing it like that. If it goes after US vassals, it will lose. The United States has too much leverage over them including 'soft power', they would rather remain under US influence even if it's against their interests, the kind of powerful brain washing shampoo the US produces for citizens of these countries is no joke. China should go after the US itself, slowly pulling any lever it has and bring the US to the negotiating table.

In finance, one of the most important things is trust. NY, London and Hong Kong are financial centers because they have been in the game for so long and people trust them with money.

Without trust, the market collapses because people will no longer want to engage in business.

When it comes to finance stuff, I hope China is keeping a list of countries that have lost credibility and treat them as one. I don't expect military actions. But as a country that tries to screw over China in finances, I hope China will act equally harsh to it going for stuff in that field going forward.

DOJ Removes New Epstein Files That Mention Wild Trump Sex Allegations, Including Rape

Among the latest Epstein files dump is a list of wild complaints made with the FBI that include wild allegations against President Donald Trump and others from uncorroborated tips.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced on Friday that thousands of new documents related to the case of convicted child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein were being released.

The latest drop comes as the administration has faced complaints from critics over its failure to release all the files by a December 19 deadline previously set by Congress.

On Friday, Blanche announced 3.5 million new files were being released to comply with the Epstein Transparency Act. Among them is a list of allegations made against the president, a former friend of Epstein’s. In FBI email communications — which note some of the allegations come secondhand — various allegations are listed that involve Trump, Epstein, and others.

It should be noted that these complaints are uncorroborated tips to the FBI, and the existence of those tips does not indicate eventual credibility.

Blanche said the White House had no oversight on the latest documents released. He told Fox News that there has been no evidence of criminal conduct by the president found in the Epstein files.

“In none of these communications, even when doing his best to disparage President Trump, did Epstein suggest President Trump had done anything criminal or had any inappropriate contact with any of his victims,” he said.

Trump himself has long denied any wrongdoing in his friendship with Epstein.

Since their original publication, the complaints mentioning Trump have been removed from the DOJ website with a “page not found” message being given to people trying to search for them. The complaints, however, have been widely copied and shared on social media.

CNN’s Jake Tapper was among those who noted the DOJ pulling the files.

Trump Accused of Raping Teenager

In a complaint made by a friend, the president was accused of forcing a 13-14-year-old to perform oral sex on him.

“[Redacted] reported an unidentified female friend who was forced to perform oral sex on President Trump approximately 35 years ago in NJ. The friend told Alexis that she was approximately 13-14 years old when this occurred, and the friend allegedly bit President Trump while performing oral sex. The friend was allegedly hit in the face after she laughed about biting President Trump. The friend said she was also abused by Epstein,” the complaint reads.

In the “response” column, it is noted that an investigator was sent to Washington to conduct an interview.

Trump Accused of Being Present While Newborn ‘Murdered’

Another in Epstein’s orbit also made allegations of “sex trafficking” and murder. The unidentified person was following up on a tip given to the NYPD in which the person alleged they were raped at 13. The person also alleged Trump regularly paid them to perform sexual acts and claimed he was present when her newborn child was murdered.

“Complainant reported Donald Trump participated regularly in paying money to force her to perform sex acts with him and alleged Trump was present when her uncle murdered her newborn child,” notes on the complaint read.

According to the paperwork, there was “no contact made.”

Mar-a-Lago ‘Calendar Girls’ Parties

Another complaint — for which there was no contact information provided — alleged that “calendar girls” parties at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago involved genital measurements for children.

“Jeffrey Epstein would bring the children in and trump would auction them off. He measured the children’s vulva and vaginas by entering a finger and rated the children on tightness,” the complaint reads.

The person alleged people like Elon Musk, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump were present at these alleged parties.

Robin Leach and Trump’s Head of Security

One complainant claimed they witnessed a “sex trafficking ring at the Trump Golf Course” in Rancho Palo Verdes, California between 1995 and 1996. The person alleged Ghislaine Maxwell, a former Epstein associate now serving 20 years for sex trafficking, was a “madam” and “broker” for deals involving girls.

The person claimed they witnessed Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous host Robin Leach “strangle a young girl” at a party. The person also alleged a threat from Trump’s head of security if she “ever talked.” She claimed she was told she would “end up as fertilizer for the back nine holes like the other c*nts” if she spoke about what she had seen.

Epstein Gives Bill Gates Advice on Hiding Alleged STD From Wife

Also a part of the new file dump is a draft email Epstein was writing to himself in July 2013. In it, he addressed Bill Gates, accusing him of recently disregarding their “friendship.” In the lengthy message, he also made mention of Gates allegedly asking him to delete some past communications.

“TO add insult to the injury you them (sic) implore me to please delete the emails regarding your std, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda and the description of your penis,” he wrote.

I like to check in on Hugh White from time to time, as one of the more prescient and insightful Australian observers of the developing contest between the United States and China and the choices that portends for us. Still, I certainly did not expect to come across a four hour book club discussion:

Entertainment for the TikTok generation this is not. Hugh really is a wonderful communicator. He has the patient and cautious air one associates with academic types, but without the verbose and convoluted language that often comes along for the ride. Above all, the impression is of a learned conversation, rather than an ideologue pushing a particular narrative. I particularly appreciated his comments towards the end of their discussion on Donald Kagan's The Outbreak of the Peloponnesian War on maintaining a sense of human moral agency in the face of narratives that X is inevitable or that Y is the only path available (~5 minutes from

Mongol invasion of Central Asia precedes Yuan dynasty by half a century. The Sinicized Mongols aren't the ones who invaded Central and West Asia. The expulsion and migration of Oghuz was caused by Kipchak and Kimak, long before Mongols even united. The Mongol invasions pushed the already migrating migrants even further west into Anatolia.
Those off branch "Mongol groups" had long disappeared and inter-mix with others to the point where there is no longer an identity.

The only legitimate Mongols left today that everyone collectively known as "Mongols" and are considered the only direct successors to the Mongolian lineage are the Sinicised Mogols that came after the Yuan Dynasty of China, this is a fact. And DO NOT forget the balkanisation of Outer-Mongolia (including tannu uriankhai) from China is only a very recent thing done by imperialist Russia/ Soviets! This is why a misunderstanding can happen if people use the relatively modern understanding of the term "Mongols" when actually referring to the proto-period where the tribes are divided and much messier.

But tbh this misunderstanding isn't anyone's fault as there really isn't a specific name that differentiates this loose transition period during the establishment of the term "Mongols" (from the previous Xianbei/ Shiwei) but also right before the period of their Sinicisation during the Yuan, but at least I do get what you mean now. Either way, all I can say is that Russia shall pay for the crimes they committed against China one day, which includes the stealing and balkanising of Chinese people and Chinese lands.

You are using PPP right? Even by that metric, it is 41 trillion for China and 30 trillion for US, so around 1.35.

Nominal GDP however is the agreed upon usual metric for cross-comparison of country GDPs. Why? Because that is what is tradeable and exchangeable. Not to mention, nominal GDP has a bigger bearing on tradeable sector, tradeable goods, investment and cash flows, currency etc.

PPP GDP is a purely hypothetical figure, which is not even correctly calculated. I actually believe China's PPP GDP is significantly higher than calculated.

For the economy, the right metric for comparison is nominal GDP. If China let's the RMB rise, I would be the biggest fan, and would be singing praises. Obviously, the next step would be to equal US in per capita, but overtaking US nominal GDP would be praiseworthy feat in and of itself.
Nominal GDP is not tradeable by any means actually. There is no way to trade a US haircut for its nominal value, for instance, as the US haircutter also pays US rent, US taxes, US utilities, US non import prices, etc.

When a war breaks out, you can try shooting nominal dollars, as the EU is finding out against "Italy sized" Russia.

Where's the source for this? By the way America is the most paranoid nation on earth. That is why it treats every challenger to its dominance so seriously.
this is actually a falsifiable claim.

Simple proof: US churns out thousands of capeman superhero power fantasy movies, books and TV shows, where capeman flies around, punches the baddie, everything goes back to the status quo and he flies off with a "never give up muh bros!!!11!!!" message. The greatest conflict is about capeman not wanting to hurt the baddie too badly.

If they were so paranoid and serious why do they always go for power fantasy and deus ex machina in their media? You can't tell me it's just media - it wouldn’t be made or selling if it wasn't actually believed in by a substantial fraction of the people.

In fact I can name multiple right now, including entire book series, movie series, TV shows with multiple seasons, etc.

there are near 0 movies, books or TV shows where they seriously examine themselves and imagine the consequences to catastrophes.
