Only someone as superficial as Trump would see that as legitimate.
Isn’t there anyone in the White House who would’ve pointed out the optics of this whole thing and how stupid it makes trump look?
If he’s already gone and kidnapped Madurai and is preparing To invade Greenland he may as well kidnap the Nobel committee and park an aircraft carrier outside Stockholm and “persuade” them to give him the Nobel peace prize and more to the point, why didn’t they do it in the first place? It’s evident western elites know what sort of man trump is and how despotic he behaves so when the elites do something like crown a blonde miss denmark as miss universe to Trumpian tastes rather than the bearded transvestites and African miss finlands they’ve been promoting, you’d think they’d know better than to grant the Nobel peace prize to trump.

That's why Western allies are a joke. Trump is annihilating Western values and they still debate relations with China. They don't see it but when they violate their own rules and laws, that makes them worse than what they think of China. China isn't going around being a hypocrite and punishing countries for doing things they're doing themselves. But they don't frame what Trump and the US are doing as evil if it were China doing it. Do they get a pass because they're a democracy? You can't say you value these things and expect respect from the world for it and then they violate it. Yeah Europe dares "to question" Israel's genocide in Gaza but that's about it. And the US is a supporter just like they want to punish China because Russia invaded Ukraine. The US is their ally and their ally is providing the weapons of genocide in Gaza so by their own logic Western allies should be punished.
Running out of money and looking for investors. Lots of Naive Chinese people too mistaking their business models successful in China and other parts of asia will work in the PH.
