They shot themselves in the foot right off the bat since they named their company after what sounds like an online scam to trick people into overpaying for Carfax/VIN number type vehicle history reports. Anyone here ever try selling a used car online in the US or Canada? Literally 80% of the responses I got were from these kinds of scammers who first posed as interested buyers. It's like an education company going into the Chinese market and naming themselves "250 Academy".

There's a reason US didn't want Greenland or Mexico at its prime in the 90s and only start wanting it after losing 2 trade wars, one tech war and most importantly the bio war against China.

What actually matters isn't what US wants, its what US can actually afford, and from China's perspective it's arguably more beneficial for America to maximize what they want when they can least afford it.

Trump basically self destructed all American soft power including at home and did so when America has the least hard power since 1980s

Vietnam of all countries should know better since it uses China as a reference that these things take a long time to develop and its not their time yet. Pretty disappointing to see them think like India.

Well it took them all of 1 working week to figure out the component import ban basically kills the entire US drone industry, I'm impressed.

Unless.... and I need to see the detailed statement to verify, they only undid the ban on new DJI models but kept the component ban that kills American drones, if so that would be just too hilarious even by Trump standards.
