Israeli empire might be quicker to it's death; has been around less than 80 years. It is truly bizarre, a supposed people who were stateless for 2,000+ years, have achieved all the depravity and crime known to mankind in less than a hundred years of getting their first state.

No one has a good answer, but we should not allow a move away from the status quo that is done in a non-peaceful manner, and that would include deterring invasion, deterring any aggressive moves, but it would also include deterring unilateral moves toward independence.
