I mean no country has real ariel combat experince aside from Pakistan, Russia and Ukraine. Plus the Air force dosen't need to have game changer aircraft. All PLAAF needs to do is deny air superiority and China would win because NATO tactics rely on Air superiorty and if it's denied then their forces are pretty much useless. We have seen this in Ukraine.

Pretty much like the reality of modern drone warfare today. Shooting old MIGs in the Middle East 30 years ago doesn't count as a real experience for today air combat. Just watch the video of history legends, NATO is totally oblivious to the reality of modern drones, even FPV ones while China is already incorporating modern drone warfare in their training. NATO is STILL training Ukrainians with tactics from the Gulf War.

This piece is from British concern (their war preparedness is presented in video), assumption on India during the operation sindoor was that these PL-15 contain nothing more than hot air, so that's why they were so gung-ho and resultantly were involved in turkey shoot, otherwise there is no merit to Chinese arms.

Most of India's population is within 400km of the China-India border, including it's capital New Delhi. Establishing air superiority here should be pretty easy given PLAAF's current arsenal.
There were a couple reports that, in addition to satellite intel, China provided Pakistan with direct electronic intelligence and EW/ECCM over the Kashmir sector during Op Sindoor. And India is constructing a major airbase precisely in that area of interest on the Chinese border.
