Taikonauts have returned safely.
There will always be mistakes or mishaps happening. No one can have a 100% success ratio.
The question is when something occurs, do you have a course of action to take to fix it and make sure it doesn't happen again?
Westoids and Indians love gloating when a mistake happens in China. Yet when China does something to eventually repair it later on, they simply have no response. It doesn't occur in their minds coz in their own countries, when a problem occurs, they tend to talk about it until people move onto something else instead of actually fixing it.
This has happend with so many topics regarding China bad. From declining birth rates, to technology development, to society issues. China had at least attempted a serious attempt in fixing or mitigating issues. The same cannot be said of its critics.
The role of the officials in China was to basically problem solve. I'm really surprised that in other places, their role is to only talk about problems but not actually fix them.
