i think china wants to let US tariffs with other nations to be completed before China demands more from the US.
If US were forced to concede totally to China now would other nations rebel against Trump's tariffs?
They are watching....

If US were forced to concede to China, other countries will have to give China better terms when signing trade agreements with China.

So how are they gonna stop US stockpiling RE if the Oct 9 export control is to be paused?
RE and RE technology are two different things. I hope China will not loosen the export restriction on RE technology, and keep banning the poaching of RE experts by foreign companies. Anyway, catching up with China in RE technology is a multi-decade effort. In the meantime, China would not be sitting on their laurels, twiddling their thumbs and doing nothing - they will keep advancing the technology themselves.

The only thing I don’t really think the stock market will ever crash. We may a very severe K shaped recession or even depression. Where the rich get richer and poor even poorer. The middle class in America has collapsed. The job market has officially collapsed. Millennials and Gen z are struggling to find jobs while saddled with student debt. And food inflation is getting worse.

What keeping the stock market up is the promise of the Fed dropping interest rates. And of things really get bad they will go back to doing QE. They literally can’t afford a recession. Most recessions going back to the dot com bubble leads to doubling of the deficit. Right now the deficit is 7.4 of GDP. A regular run of the mill recession will ballon it to 15%+ at a time where demand for US treasury bonds is low. Issuing more bonds to fund deficit will lead to spiking bond yields. And that means the country will go from economic crisis to severe debt/currency crisis. So they’ll do whatever it takes to stop that. They will keep inflating the AI bubble as much as they can. The only think that can screw this up is if either Japan,UK and France get into a debt crisis which could bring down the financial system. So they’ll try to keep pumping it. The only risk is that the wealth gap will widen even more leading to mass civil unrest down the line. Americans rage and anger is boiling and we are near a breaking point.

Too soon to make judgement. Wait a while to learn the true details of the trade talk after the sensationalism dies down.

If you guys keep on exaggerating the trade results based on limited information, you will be muted. This is not the first time you have claimed victory/defeat that ended up different just 1-2 weeks later when more information comes out.
Yeah, it is too soon to come to judgement For anything. Almost a trend in some cases even on this forum, some people are literally stuck on the Iran doomed bandwagon when the Israelis struck, only for two week after, we can see that Israel has taken the worst of it by far and even all the times that the US has claimed victory and even nexperia some people think it’s a game changer only for that one to be a game changing self own of the most stupid kind.

So really if any thing I am curious what the result will be on the first of November when the snap program completely shuts down and 40 million people would be in danger of starvation in the USA. I know this might seem like a game changing death blow for the USA if a civil war has gone off as a result but they have pulled off this fake out multiple times and Trump has dodged the bullet many times as well. So I would probably wait for a a fortnight to a month to see the impact if Trump is really that stupid to let the shut downs go on for longer along with cancelling these programs, since this may be the straw that breaks the camels back. If the USA fails here, we may bare witness to the downfall of an empire of such a magnitude none has ever seen before

Iran had almost its entire leadership killed. What is worse is they are the hardliners so whoever is left are cucks you wish they were dead. That was not a win for Iranians at all. In addition, Iran lost its proxy in the region, it is a major defeat.

Hardly any Mullahs got killed. And even if they did, it changed nothing. Iran's stance remains unchanged.
