It has been an emotional week for the MAGA right wing white supremacists. That anti-white murder of a Ukrainian refugee in Charlotte, North Carolina. And now this Charlie Kirk shooting in Utah.

I notice that the MAGA folks like to talk alot, but its the Woke nutjobs who are the ones who actually kill people. What is happening in America?

Having a competent and capable intelligence apparatus does not mean that decision makers in the military or in the civilian government have the competence to act on it.
Very relevant to today's date... although it might be more accurate to say that the decision makers sometimes have ulterior motives not to act as well...

I remembered years ago, when the first Trump administration played down the murder of Asians by those same types of scum that killed that Ukrainian refugee. So I don't trust that the current MAGA outrage is not racially motivated.

These MAGA people would turn a blind eye or even encourage anti-Asian hate crimes. But then they go ballistic when a white girl is murdered. They cannot claim to hold any moral high ground.

The extremist right-wing may see this as a declaration of war and open season, so they may retaliate against anyone they perceive as left wing or left leaning. The culture war may spill over into actual physical violence
I don't think it'll spill over to violence

1. Kirk is not thaaat popular even amongst right wings
2. No agitation from key figures like Trump. It seems he is instructed to downplay it

You are right. Everyone is losing their shit at the same time, everywhere!

Some of them deserve it. Some do not. Okay, who are we kidding, most of them deserve it. :p

Do not want to sound racist, I see not many Chinese people there in these videos going crazy!

That Nepal videos of their riots were very revealing. That country is poor as dirty. Notice the cars on the streets. There are no cars on the streets. They were that poor. China was like that 40 years ago, no one owned a car. Nepal was like that 40 years ago too. We know that because they still do not own any cars! No cars parked on the streets. Maybe they all parked underground.

Then the immigrants storm some golden Bastille in France. Way to go! Keep going with the traditions.

Then farmers in Canada and especially the United States facing hard times, it was reported 33% of farmers face bankruptcy in the midwest. But the Anglos will take it for the team, suffer quietly, and alone.

Bad leadership has a price.

Ironically, President Trump is not a bad leader. People believe in him. He also is lucky that he is the leader of one of the most wealthy countries on earth.

President Trump has a problem with society, with crime, assassinations, people living pay cheque to pay cheque, unwanted immigration, strange foreign policy, and shit.

This is the interesting part I find, that there is no way out. There is no simple direct way for all these countries to solve all these inter-related problems.

As for China, the biggest problems it faced, in my lifetime, would be the widespread poverty and exhaustion of the nation after the Cultural Revolution, the 6.4 incident in 1989, the Asian Financial crisis of 1998, and covid pandemic. Noticed how these problems became less severe over time. Comrade Deng was right, in a time of relative peace, got to make the most out of it.

Let's see how these countries get out of their mess.

:p
The difference is that Nepal dosen't have any other industry other than Tourism and later IT. This is why the Nepalese government dosen't limit tourist in Mount Qomolangma/Sagarmāthā because they can't afford too. Nepalese real option to prosper is to basically die for foreigners, either for ethnic Sherpas on Mount Qomolangma or as Gurkhas (any ethnicity from nepal these days) for the British Crown, Singapore, Burnei or India.

I wonder if the killer was aiming for the head for a guaranteed kill shot but failed to account for bullet drop properly. Very few people aim for the neck on purpose.

I doubt someone would be firing at 200 yards if they haven’t practiced or already had experience. Wasn’t only a single shot recorded? I don’t remember hearing anything about multiple shots.

I agree with FriedButter that anyone making a shot at that range would know to correct for bullet drop. Also, you wouldn’t miss by that much at that range from just forgetting/fucking up bullet drop adjustments. Even if you adjusted it the wrong way around.

I think what is more likely is that the shooter wasn’t used to shooting from an elevated position, so didn’t think/know to consult a ballistic chart or app to calculated the true flight distance of the bullet.

If that was the case, then it actually would be the other way round, where the point of impact was higher than the point of aim. This could have been compounded by a non-professional letting adrenaline get the better of them and pulling the trigger too hard and ended up pulling the shot slightly.

So if that is true, it means the shooter was aiming for the chest/centre of mass, and ended up hitting the neck instead in error (and that would be quite an error to miss the intended shot placement by that much at 200 yards). That would strongly point away from a professional hit (assuming they didn’t hire a conman or total blow hard).

It would make a lot of sense for a lone wolf shooter to aim for centre mass given the famous/infamous miss on Trump, and it would have paid off, as he would have missed the shot completely had he been aiming for the head if the above assessment is correct.
