Really, based on this presentation alone along with just how poorly they treat guest like this, really, the USA has no right to call itself a hegemon. I mean, surely the greatest nation in the nation would spare no expense to at least make sure that they can at least accomodate other sovereign nations in a manner at least better than a 1 star hotel. Seriously, the USA has no right to lecture anyone in anything if they cannot get basic hospitality done properly. Seriously, the last 2 decades has literally turned the US from a nation I would’ve at least visit once to being something that is no better then a third world country and even that is an insult because I am fairly certain that would treat other nations with more respect. The USA has thus should be known as a 4th world nation from now on

While true that Germany also participated in imperialistic exploitation of China, they did so on a smaller scale and arguably in a less inhumane and barbaric manner than each of the other primary European imperial powers (plus Japan). The British, Russians, Japanese, and even the French inflicted far more harm on the Chinese than the Germans. Also, if it wasn't for Sino-German cooperation following WW1, the first few years of the Second Sino-Japanese war would likely have gone far worse for China.
That isn't remotly true because the German army had a very bad reputation for raping and pillaging Chinese people and don't forget the Kaiser's huns speech encourging his soldiers to slaughter Chinese people. The Germans were no different then the Japanese. They planed on Qingdao to be completly German and void of any Chinese culture similar to what the brits and Japs did.
