I totally support Peloci on this point. In fact, I have been wishing that Beijing 2022 is canceled. I would hope the Chinese government tell IOC that, due US pressure, China has to cancel the game to make Americans happy.
I speculate that China does this on purpose.
It's a total waste of funds and effort. Governments around the world like hosting because it's always a big shady bribery festival. Let them feel happy about getting Olympics away from China. They can have it lol.
On these particular products, there is no significant difference. US is happy they get some income out of nothing and China spends the same amount on receiving the same products. Vendor changes and neither truly care that much about Australia's pocket.
Yes and no. Might as well use up as much of that green paper as possible before it becomes toilet paper. Besides there's the phase 1 deal.
But it's also true that this is school playground level political game that every Chinese child will known and understand. You will see more complicated stuff than this just by working in an office in China, never mind all the old foxes in State Council.
You know its like Trump bragging about his d size. First he claims it's 1.5 millimeter long, a few months later he claims it's 6 millimeters long.

Oh cry me a river... The Republicans who are grabbing hold of this story as usual complaining about things they're guilty of doing first. Before social media "white men" controlled the media hence they controlled the conversation. Now they don't feel like they have a voice and others are telling them who they are and it isn't good. White men don't feel like men anymore yet they've been vilifying non-white men long before there was any electronic media and to this very day. "They're more likely to abuse women while white men treat women with respect. They're more likely to rape you." Yeah and they're hiding the sicko fact that a white man killed 8 people in Atlanta because he couldn't control his perverted sexual temptations over Asian women so he thought it was his right to kill-off his temptations because that was his white privilege instead of just killing himself to end the pain." That mentality is not something unique. I knew a guy who told me if he demands sex from any Asian woman, even ones that he doesn't know, and she doesn't comply, he's a victim of racism. Never mind that's called rape if any other non-white male demanded the same. It was his right and he better get what he wants.
Look at the Jan 6th Washington insurrection. What was their goal? They wanted to stop Biden from being President. Did that happen? No, they failed. So the people who supported the insurrection now are claiming victory because they saw Congress cowered and hiding from the insurrectionists. The right-wing act like they're all a bunch of Rambos. But they also want to play victim. There was one of the Washington insurrectionist that was arrested and he doesn't want to be in jail because people even the police are saying mean things to him. I thought these people had conviction and would sacrifice their own lives for what they believe in. I thought they were a bunch of Rambos each being a one-man army that could take on any foreign army in the world yet they can't take the teasing from people in jail...? Just imagine what will happen to them in a foreign prison in a war they're always pushing. One of the themes I always hear from the right is they're sensitive to being portrayed as dumb. You hear it now with those that refuse to be vaccinated. The people who came up with and have been using the term "libtard" for over 30 years don't like it when they're made out to be dumb...?
The right is guilty of everything they accuse. They don't want to be portrayed as dumb when they insult everyone else as being stupid, They don't like identity politics yet they're quick to identify first someone by their race. They don't like cancel culture yet they want to get rid of everything that doesn't comply to their right-wing/Christian sensibilities including China. They hate political correctness but they have their own version of political correctness where they stop any conversation that is sensitive to them like racism or how they look at women as their property to do with as they will.
