Tourism from China had been banned in 2020, first due to the pandemic, and later due to border clashes. Why is India welcoming Chinese tourists now? Filipinos have been harbouring a huge amount of resentment against China for a long time. Since way before this SCS stuff. Why? Because the Chinese who went there introduced the concept of commerce. They couldn’t learn, compete or adapt fast enough for themselves and as a result, most of their most successful industries and businesses are controlled and owned by Chinese or mostly Chinese descended diaspora.
