urban legend, no such thing as copy backdoor

You have to leave something in the software for remote access. Also please re-read what I wrote, I didn’t say Huawei had backdoors for the Chinese gov. I said they copied the hardware and software one for one from Cisco, meaning whatever Cisco left to trigger the remote access is still in the code. Meaning the US’s accusations was effectively an admission that they had placed something in the code.

In order to sell their equipment in the West, Huawei was required by US and other Western governments to implement the same backdoors that Cisco and all other Western telecom equipment have to facilitate government access. The US then later accused Huawei of having access to these very same backdoors that they required Huawei to implement, without providing any evidence of such access being abused by anyone other than US and Western governments.

U.S. officials say Huawei Technologies Co. can covertly access mobile-phone networks around the world through “back doors” designed for use by law enforcement, as Washington tries to persuade allies to

from their networks.
...
When telecom-equipment makers sell hardware such as switching gear, base stations and antennas to cellphone carriers—which assemble the networks that enable mobile communication and computing—they are required by law to build in ways for authorities to tap into the networks for lawful purposes.
...
U.S. officials said Huawei has built equipment that secretly preserves its ability to access networks through these interfaces, without the carriers’ knowledge. The officials didn’t provide details of where they believe Huawei is able to do so.
...
U.S. officials declined to say whether the U.S. has observed Huawei using this access. U.S. officials also haven’t provided details about the alleged backdoor access

If they can do this sort of things to a Caucasian woman from an ally country, one of the five eyes in fact, just imagine what they can do to someone from the “pacing threat challenger” country.

Even if the leadership in the USA changes one day, the damage done will remain for a long time. Funny how far the USA has fallen because of Trump but then again, serves them right for being so crazy and scared it seems. Hopefully more and more people are put off from ever going to the USA in the future if only because this is never going to get any better given how these people have no humanity it seems like. Hopefully this will destroy the US tourism industry one day and then I will laugh when these stupid bastards wonder why no one is coming to the USA for a holiday ever again. Even better is if these so called agents are then thrown under the bus later for tanking the economy by Trump because it seems blaming others for the own screw ups is the only thing they can do

He has a valid point and does have legal implications. It is as serious as Republic of Austria made

to ban the return of Hubsburg family to Austria because the last emperor did not relinquish his claim to the sovereignty. Remember the complaints from western countries about the comments from Chinese ambassdor who said that Russian-Ukrainian border was never legally settled? It is a matter as serious as that.

Another example is PRC denounced multiple times ROC's constitutional amendment including abolishing Fujian and Taiwan province under ROC control. The ground is that ROC is legally bound to amend its constitution with representitives from populations in all its founding territory which includes mainland. PRC being sensitive to the matter is not because it cares much inside Taiwan, but PRC can not allow ROC to legally anounce independence without giving mainland the legal ground to attack it. Very often letters on paper matters.
Thing is also that as the past 150 years have shown how much the US and the west/aligned disregard any notions of legality when it comes to advancing their interests (particularly wrt both manipulation of colonial populations and developing states to their active detriment) against nations and populations not under their direct harvesting and control, that it becomes incumbent on non-western sovereign states to take necessary actions to not only forestall such actions by the US/west but also to eliminate those possibilities from propagating. The Greenies after all are the political descendants of the pro-Japanese colonial regime supporters and actively aligned with the US neocon/neoliberal groups, so as the Eastern European and Middle Eastern experience among others demonstrates that only proactive defeat of both these foreign enabled/sponsored groups and their ideological/economic backers will work (as the western imperialists et al never rest as with Xinjiang, Xizang, Hong Kong etc or any idpol group they can conjure/manipulate). This is especially why hard defense of one's sovereignty is necessary (even if not on paper) not only for the immediate state of security but especially for the long term in such a political environment, as Palestine at the end of the day is only the tip of the iceberg of the imperialist's intentions.

Well, CN is the largest trading country after all...
I guess Israel gets a lot of military assistance from the US regime for free, at American taxpayers' expense.

Both the US regime and their imaginary enemies will be in big trouble if America's generals are so unhinged.

So much "Do nothing. Win." nowadays:
