mind you, the moment a pirate is attacked, it will be seen not as an act of legal justice but an act of national injustice. america will fight to protect its citizens where ever they may be in the world -

They have quite a few that are camping in Siberia right now as guests of the Kremlin.

They say they'll do that but do they have the power to do so?

I don't understand this angle of buying direct from these factories online because it would still be subject to tariffs and restrictions. There was another suggestion that might be more feasible. Take the medical tourism route but with shopping instead? Supposedly Chinese air fare and luxury hotels are cheap so people can fly to China to go on shopping sprees on those visa free visits. It can be a whole new business.
It makes sense if you see the difference in prices. For example, the Gucci T-shirt sells for $100. But if you get rid of the middleman/dealer and buy it from the manufacturer directly, with a 245% tariff, the price will be a whopping $3.65! No wonder some Western MSM are trying to gaslight their readers from doing it.
In a related thread, the poster claims that millions of small businesses will go bankrupt in the US if the trade war doesn't stop. The implication is that millions of America's small businesses are essentially acting as middleman/dealers.

The Trump regime can keep dreaming of isolating China.

The US is trying to appeal to allies' sense of shared values to keep them in-line. What does it say when allies are not listening? And you know Trump talking up how negotiations with Japan are going great because he thinks China will fear the US and Japan are getting closer and thus will run to Trump for a deal.
EU got scared after China fucked Canada up for having 100% tariff on EVs.

Will this be the Chinese Century?

Probably yes, though that may not mean what people expect.
