I don't understand this angle of buying direct from these factories online because it would still be subject to tariffs and restrictions. There was another suggestion that might be more feasible. Take the medical tourism route but with shopping instead? Supposedly Chinese air fare and luxury hotels are cheap so people can fly to China to go on shopping sprees on those visa free visits. It can be a whole new business.
It makes sense if you see the difference in prices. For example, the Gucci T-shirt sells for $100. But if you get rid of the middleman/dealer and buy it from the manufacturer directly, with a 245% tariff, the price will be a whopping $3.65! No wonder some Western MSM are trying to gaslight their readers from doing it.
In a related thread, the poster claims that millions of small businesses will go bankrupt in the US if the trade war doesn't stop. The implication is that millions of America's small businesses are essentially acting as middleman/dealers.
The Trump regime can keep dreaming of isolating China.
