What pisses me off about the west is how they keep boasting about their values and trying to chide China about it. And the when the government changes they drop those beliefs instantly.
Before they kept preaching about DEI, affirmative action, lgtbtq and how they are better than China. Well now Trump is in power they drop all that stuff and pretend theycl haven't been shoving up down our throats for years.
As least be willing to go down with your beliefs.

China labour watch (clw), an ngo based in New York City, has investigated labour abuses in Chinese supply chains for 20 years. It is small, with a staff of seven and a budget of $800,000 a year. Now it is on the verge of collapse. Some 90% of its funds come from the American government. Since Donald Trump ordered a freeze on foreign aid in January, clw has had to halt most of its work. Li Qiang, its founder, says staff will have to be laid off. It is all “very painful”, he says, and “completely unexpected”.

Why would you think they would do that?
The US invaded so many countries in the last 30 years, but they always say China is a threat to peace
They say China cracks down on Hong Kong and the police are brutal, but the HKPF killed nobody, meanwhile US police forces kill hundreds of people a year (even you charitably say "most of these are justified", it begs the question of what kind of society do you live in that police must routinely play the role of public executioner)
They talk about green technology, but the moment China pulls ahead, they try to strangle it (This is talking about Biden, not even Trump). Meanwhile, even Sinopec's own projections see oil demand plateauing.
The only thing that the US holds true is f***ing around in the Middle East.
