I was aggressively confronted by someone with a China IP that the US has free healthcare at point of use and if you go to the hospital, they are forced to cure you, and you can just refuse to pay back.

I told them that there was no such thing.

  3. Cherry on top for me is the Great Translation Movement running out of, out of context comments, on XHS to portray in a negative light, so he straight up posts an image of Chinese people eating dogs.
There's no need for embellished gloating, they've lost this round and are behaving as such. (And there's still the possibility of the knife being twisted if Trump rescinds the TikTok ban)

One can perhaps wonder what sum of money or unresolved childhood trauma lead these people to build an entire career off inciting hatred. But they walked this path and can now reap the consequences.

I remember hearing about this 2-3 years ago from an article.

$50 per “donation” and +$6000 per year if said person maxes their legal plasma limit. Which probably isn’t reported to the IRS so this is pure cash of about +$500 per month.

In an updated statement Saturday, the White House dismissed TikTok's threat as a "stunt."

"We see no reason for TikTok or other companies to take actions in the next few days before the Trump Administration takes office on Monday," the White House said. "We have laid out our position clearly and straightforwardly: actions to implement this law will fall to the next administration. So TikTok and other companies should take up any concerns with them."
