Chinese lawmakers voted to adopt the decision in September. The statutory retirement age for men will be gradually raised from 60 to 63 in the course of 15 years starting Jan 1, 2025, while that for women cadres and women blue-collar workers will be raised from 55 to 58 and from 50 to 55, respectively.
Starting 2030, the minimum year of basic pension contributions required to receive monthly benefits will be gradually raised from 15 years to 20 years at the pace of an increase of six months annually.
And we haven't even gotten to the bit where people from the Biden administraiton are going to be sanctioned by China once they leave office. I got my money on Blinken and Sullivan b eing sanctioned.

I've noticed this about Indians. They love to stand around ordering people around and passing work onto others but shy away from doing any of the actual work or heavy lifting. Indians who say "India must accelerate and surpass China in space/high speed rail/war/technology etc etc" but say nothing of what they will do to get there. This is what is meant by the saying that 'amateurs talk tactics, professionals talk logistics'. Indians are nothing but mouths with feet, instinctually inclined to generate more mouths with feet.
I've been reading up about the next big area to invest in. According to what some China Venture Capitalists believe, its Southeast Asia with the most important areas being Indonesia and Vietnam due to their size and growth potential. Also from China's perspective, whatever feeling they harbour against them, they will get the job done well enough when asked. So thats probably why China has been doing a lot of investing there because it believes they will have the best return. A lot of other countries lack competence or are simply unstable and lack the ability to be trusted. For example Vietnam and China has a lot of bad blood but Vietnam just wants the money and the job will be done. Feelings or ego left at the door for we only talk business, In contrast some country like Iran is supposed to be China's friend but spends so much time insulting it and trying to pivot to the west with not much development on the money given. I know sanctions suck but at least be less arrogant about it when you're in such a state.
So all this talk about the next big thing being India might be a Red herring and the real deal is in SEA. Something India will miss out on since a few of those places are Muslim.

This is the reason i refuse to work under Indian managers; chances are high they lied to get into that position and relied on nepotism. No more doing the Needful. Chinese managers may work everyone hard but they'll pitch in like everyone else and lead by example. Not only will Indian managers not do their own work, but will actually try to blame you and others when shit inevitably hits the fan.
