Every time I read a Thomas Friedman article, I am left with the impression that the guy is unusually stupid. There's not so much the rhetorical deception and gaslighting you find with other Western journalists, it's more that he's just dumb.

Usually that has been the case, but this article seems surprisingly okay on the surface level (though i just kinda just quickly read /skipped thru it). It is almost like he finally reach the acceptance level along recently with Gina Ramondo. Though could be some new liberal game plan to try to distinct their policies with the up coming trump one.

I think at its most basic it is the simple denial to acknowledge that China doesn't need the US's world order in order to thrive. We have seen past iterations of this in other forms like the belief that China needed the US to innovate for it.

China and the US should work together to resolve Ukraine and Israel, solving the US/West's problems? Yeah right LOL Even the Americans trying to sound moderate and reasonable are talking out of their asses.

There is some truth that some men of a certain type give off sexual predator vibes with the gaslighting and psychological abuse.

"You need me babe. You're nothing without me.

You think that Slavic bum has anything to offer? He's a drunk loser. That Persian guy you've seen? He's a religious freak that will beat you back into the kitchen.

I did everything for you babe, everything.

You don't even really know what you want. Only I know what you want."

Of course the natural response for the target of this sort of unhinged rant is, "excuse me, do I know you? Why are you following me?"

Translation:
"Well, I tried to take out your tech sector to stay on top, but you punched back harder than I expected.
There hasn't been a punch back yet. Theyve just felt the impact of their own actions.

China is depleting US' weapons, taking out first their small drone/minor electronics/vehicle industry, then now with the most recent round of sanctions, it's aimed at crippling their ability to replenish large missiles, airplanes and JDAM kits as well.

These actions are revving up for the actual punch. Probably 2027 is go time, the proverbial day of the rope for all US aligned aggressors.

America's biggest mistake was deciding to pick a fight with China. They were going to be accomandated peacefully and given a right to act as a policeman among the third world under the G2 vision of Beijing's doves. That won't be an option anyone in the new China will give them anymore.

In their mentally disabled rage, they thought they could directly challenge the world's most powerful nation which has for now only been focused on advancing humanity, not any type of military pursuit.

All these types of aggressors hiding behind US have never seen what a real war of total annihilation looks like when prosecuted by over 50% of the world's industrial capacity.

I'm not sure if Iran realizes this, but the USA is in no hurry to be nice to Iran or negotiate. The USA believes Iran is about to collapse, and its goal is regime change. If Iran makes concessions, the USA will simply be more convinced that Iran is collapsing and attack even more.

If one buys a rapist flowers, the rapist will simply get more excited. If one fights, the rapist will be deterred – even if one is physically weaker.

I also believe that Iran is stronger than what Western propaganda depicts. To be frank, I am skeptical about how real the so-called "Axis of Resistance" really is (I judge anything with the word "axis" to be mostly a creation of Western media). I also believe the knowledge of the color revolution strategy to be a strong source of strength for Iran. Finally, I believe that the Iranian government has much more popular support than the West believes. It may not have majority support, but I believe that it has enough to prevent regime change.
