Not sure where to put this but this is from an Intelligence Squared Debate:
"Even if China were to change and adapted our constitution and our laws wholesale, we should still try to limit their growth merely because we shouldn't have a peer competitor. We must stop them even if it means pushing them back towards poverty"
IMHO, this seems to be the mentality of the Anglo-American establishment in general, no genuine competition is wanted. Dominance and general Anglo-American Supremacy are desired.
Yet India and some other countries think it is a good idea to align themselves with the Anglo-American block.
- Guidelines ‘encourage US government engagement with Taiwan that reflects our deepening unofficial relationship’, US State Department says
- ‘Working-level meetings’ can now take place inside federal buildings or in the de facto Taiwanese embassy in New York
Thats why these "experts" who talked about pushing China into poverty truly out of touch of what happening in their own backyard
It seems like every month groceries are getting more expensive now... I know from personal experience, my late night snack incursions to local Kroger used to be $25 five years ago, today with the same basket of goodies its now $75
The way things are going in the us it is the americans that are increasingly being pushed into poverty lol
Its gonna be all for naught when China finally takes back TW one way or another sooner or later...
lol. In their process of having such a dark wish, they are in the process of doing this to themselves although with they way things are going, it may go to mad max levels while China becomes a true first world nation. Funny how irony worksThats why these "experts" who talked about pushing China into poverty truly out of touch of what happening in their own backyard
These people live in fantasy "charlie in chocolate factory" land
Any example ? Brazil ?
It seems like every month groceries are getting more expensive now...
Tell me hyperinflation doesn't exists...
That's why supermarkets should be mandated to show as well price per 100 mL or g or other appropriate measurements. One of the clever ways to hide inflation is charge an item for the same price but in smaller portions
