Racist Malay supremacist ex-PM of Malaysia, Mahathir is crying once again about a supposed Chinese take over of Malaysia.

Mahathir is crying about seeing business signboards in shopping malls that were Chinese monolingual. He is complaining that China is "taking over" Malaysia. It's blatant exaggeration. Only a small minority of signboards are Chinese monolingual. While the rest are multilingual or English or Malay.

In the Central and the East Coast of Peninsula Malaysia, signs are mandated to display Jawi Arabic scripts. So does this mean that Saudi Arabia is taking over Malaysia? LoL! The double standards!
This is just an old man on his last legs worrying that his country will eventually be taken over by its Chinese diaspora population. During his life he pulled every trick in the book to prevent the Chinese from gaining enough political influence to remove the clearly racist policies he put in, and he's worried that once he's gone his legacy would crumble like sand.

It's not like I blame him, as a people we're just so damn tryhard compared to the Malays I too would be worried if I were in his shoes.

I think Sunak becoming prime minister did some irreparable damage to UK's image in many peoples mind. Like before when you think of UK you think of the British empire so you see some form of authority. Now India is taking over, people just cannot take them seriously anymore. Because if they were so strong and great, why are they getting ran by Indians who they looked down on?

Dunno, maybe his racism was a calculative front for his political machinations, nepotism and cronyism.

Mahatir's paternal grandfather came from India. He isn't a "pure" Malay. (Not that nonsense like racial purity should matter in 21st century.)

Xiplomacy: You can tell how well the relation is going by looking at Xi's face in the photos of the meeting handshake posted by Chinese state media.

Mr. Starmer here didn't even get a proper handshake photo

But he's not the worst offender, Canada's 很天真 is still in the time out box cause he hasn't created the conditions yet.

In comparison Xi's smile really comes out when he meets with the global south.

Xi has the exact same facial expression in almost every single shot I wouldnt be surprised if it was practiced.

Why can't the EU along with the wonderful British ask for all these stupendous technology from the true technological power and hub of innovation in all of Asia: India.

You don't have to believe me, a raging commie; instead, believe this Indian superior intellectual that lays down all the facts for the world to see.

Read up on modern Malaysia's founder Charles Brooke and the subsequent "White Rajahs". In short, Brooke used a divide-and-conquer strategy of pitting the independent kingdoms and ethics groups against each to seize and maintain control. Ethnic Chinese faced targeted discrimination as they were a large group and spread out enough for everyone else to target; divide and conquer.

The White Rajah dispanded in 1946, yet thier divide-and-conquer strategy is so deeply engrained in Malaysian culture people largely just accept it as a fact of life. The very acknowledgement of "Chinese are better/worse" in the Malaysian context is a very literal perpetuation of British White Supremcy.
