Described as premature by Washington, or basically too young, too simple, sometimes naive.
It's only premature because Japan is taking the lead to demand equality in military alliance, including Japanese access to US bases, and even Japanese bases on US soil to be make the "asymmetrical" alliance more equal.

Somehow, I feel like the USA is literally trying to face track its own destruction on purpose. It’s almost like the movie the domestics which quite frankly is a stupid film that might have a possibility of happening due to how lethally stupid the leadership is in the USA right now

It's only premature because Japan is taking the lead to demand equality in military alliance, including Japanese access to US bases, and even Japanese bases on US soil to be make the "asymmetrical" alliance more equal.
All they have succeeded in this situation is make themselves look equally stupid

First satellite images are out from AP based on planet labs.

Damages doesn't look that bad to me.
That's just the south-east corner of Nevatim, most hangers are to the north and north west not shown in this photo.
If AP / Planet Labs released it then it's strange only this corner is shown, Israel asking providers to hide latest photos with clouds is also interesting, it could mean this corner is the least damaged section. Iran can get damage assessment photos directly from Russia and/or China so it's not to hide from them that's for sure.

It also doesn't matter anymore, because even with just this photo two things have already been demonstrated:
1 - Iran can penetrate Israel's defences with relative ease, we're talking interception rate of less than 20% from videos
2 - This photo shows their missiles has meter level accuracy at >1100 km range, enough to target specific buildings.

This means Iran just demonstrated the ability to successfully and precisely strike any target inside Israel, and do so with at most 5 minutes of warning, barely enough time to scramble parked jets, evacuate ships or empty a building.

Strategically it just changed the entire calculus of Israel's options against Iran, sure they can still try to bomb Iran, but the consequences are now much more catastrophic than they ever thought possible just a year ago.

Cloud got it the way. Strangely they only cover the area of airport that got struck. Proof of weather manipulation technology or something far more mundane in nature?

Here's a good reply:

Aka:

"This tweet is shockingly stupid, but also a great opportunity to educate. First of all, this satellite image is not free (such as Google Map), but a paid satellite image from a commercial satellite company. Buyers first need to provide the company with the shooting area they want and pay according to the resolution and area of the area. Too thick clouds can only mean that the buyer did not check the weather in the area in advance and provide the seller with a more suitable date. Please remember: Commercial satellite companies only provide images and have no ability to interfere with the weather."

By the way, can we please keep this thread clean from any of the recent conflicts for which dedicated threads exist!

He does not have a clue about what he is talking about. Try looking at the weather forecast around Israel. There are no clouds in the sky right now anywhere in the country.

In a lot of cases when they want to block access to some area they put in a lower resolution old picture with or without cloud cover. And this is also the case here. You can typically see this in action if you try looking at French military bases. Since they demand them to be hidden by satellite imaging companies. Those areas are usually blurred.

If the issue was actual cloud cover then it would extend to further areas of the map.
