The foreign ministers of four Asian countries will visit China from March 31 to April 2, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said at a press briefing Tuesday.

Hua announced the upcoming visits of Singapore's Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan, Malaysian Foreign Minister Hishammuddin Hussein, Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi and Philippine Foreign Secretary Teodoro Locsin.

This is going to be fun. I am sure the "fishing vessels" situation will be discussed extensively

Can also recommend thegaggle with RT Peter lavelle their foreign geopolitical discussion are just of a higher level then Russia and China bad which
you find in mainstream English media.

I'm less interested in their domestic political analyses given they are more conservative and I'm more aligned with socialism. I just want people to improve materially and not things like human rights as a excuse for woke imperialism.

My biggest gripe with Peter Lavelle is that he doesn't allow his guests that have a different POV to finish their arguments.

@BlackWindMnt or RT CROSSTALK yes he is another one of my favorite, I think he had a fallen out with the Duran crew due to their Trump worshipping had not appear ever since.

I believe Peter got tired of the anti-China stance that The Duran took during Trump's time in office. I remember he blew a gasket during one of their live podcasts. Mark Sleboda also left without warning; not sure on what the issue was.

Quiet competition between Moscow and Beijing ?
The Central Asia situation is not something that Russia can do a lot about it.

Simply, China is coming with a bag of cash and thats why these countries are holding its "thigh". And obviously when there is such a big investment from China, security will soon follow behind economy.

IMO, the beat Russia could hope for is that it should try to reach a security arrangement on the region which would take into.consideration Russia's interests.

And China should give some "face" to Russia in the region but it should not back down from its interests.

In the end, the big problem is that Russia's economy is dead which is why it is losing economic and security influence in that region. Putin should start working on his economy if he wants to counterbalance some of China's economic interests there

It looks like this guy is on the payroll list of the West. Just pay attention to his careers!

Or easier, just follow his tweets, look at what interests him, just take a short time to become obvious where's his standing on what issues. And surely he is not friendly to Putin, not friendly to China. But friendly to Europe, but any wonder seeing his relation with the Polish organization, or the U.S. Kennan Institute??? :p

@escobar -- you may wish to quote the voices of The Moscow Times on how Russia and China should not get closer, instead Russia must get close to Washington lol there are still many elements like Navalny in Russia

Japan and Indonesia’s ministers of defence and foreign affairs pledged on Tuesday to tighten their military ties to face an assertive China as the two countries hold talks in Tokyo.
Bad news for China on the region. Bad move to do this Philippines move with the "fishing vessels operation" there. Going to backfire now

This won't be about Myanmar - none of those four border Myanmar
This doesn't seem likely to be about SCS, if so what's Singapore doing there?

Perhaps this is something new, something like "if shit goes down with Taiwan in the near future I recommend you guys do this and stay well back to avoid any accidents".
