When China dominates there's gonna be a whole bunch of gods: god of stock market, god of taobao discount, god of promotion, god of paper publishing, god of getting your license in one go, god of not getting your license revoked, god of finding a tomato egg noodle restaurant that is not shit.....etc

When you offered an alternative with a good prospect it's automatic and in human nature to seek it. That's what China is offering especially for the global south.

Trading in commodities especially of crucial minerals and materials will be the norm for the 21st century. The African country will be the new growth center if they are able to hold on their sovereignty. And here China and Russia will help cause they are the anchor of the axis of resistance against the Collective West.

The CPC won’t follow Anglo practices which makes someone like me seethe and rage because I do want a Chinese expeditionary force to mount a generations long liberation/conquest of the North American and Australian continents from the anglos. The Chinese gov and party elites will never sanction such a thing and there’s no way for me to do a Rothschild of the 19th c. And subvert the CPC into endorsing my dreams of conquest and revenge.

Thing is, even Chinese gods have to perform their function, otherwise Chinese won’t continue to worship them. Chinese are not Indians nor schizophrenic hebrews, if the deity fails to perform, another deity will be chosen. This is why Christianity fails in China because it positions Western Europeans as gods and Western Europeans are poor deities and even poorer human beings.

Like I said, it was only until the mid 60s with battles like the one you posted that shifted the balance of the Taiwan strait and made CKS give up his plan of taking back the mainland. Before that, the ROC held the advantage of US giving their ships over and were harassing the coastlines. Even that battle you posted, the ROC had stronger ships that had longer range guns but PRC won out due to tactical superiority, newly issued ships and being on the defense. Taking the fight to Taiwan would require much more and thats not even counting the US barging in which is probably the biggest factor.

I don't think the jury is quite out on Chinese remilitarization yet.

Wittingly or not, CPC is laying the groundwork. Comprehensive tech, industry and economy leads. The next generation will have their own values.

Millennial and onwards Chinese people are used to having about the same or better life quality than the west, and defintely much better than the third world, so react with visceral disdain if these groups try to denigrate them.

If nothing else CPC are good stewards who can pass on the national project of China to the next generation.
