China never banned Yahoo/Google/Facebook, this is a misinformation, these companies simply refused to follow China's law and left the country. TT however, did not refuse to follow American laws.

Huawei is missing google services unless you use some workaround like gbox app. Maybe better to go with Honor brand.

You have to take what you can get. Out of the collection of regional or middle powers in the global south, Iran is probably one of the least useless. But middle income countries simply are not as sophisticated as developed countries. China just doesn't have an equal in this world.

BTW, I agree that Iran is a paper tiger. Their regime is deeply unpopular. But so is Israel, outside the West. It's probably best for China to stay neutral as it is now. The West shouldn't be so close to Israel either, but the Israel Lobby distorts Western (especially US) MENA policy.
