lol you don’t understand realpolitik there is nothing to be gained by openly defying the 300 pound gorilla, it was clever to play both sides in A-stan and have plausible deniability.
What a weird perspective. Nothing to be gained but clever to play both sides. So what exactly did you gain apart from $3b/year, 40k - 60k dead civilians, 3 - 6 million displaced, 10k - 20k dead soldiers in a war that you still haven't finished even after the gorilla has left? Those attacks on Chinese workers and projects also often come from the belligerents of your clever war.

I know hotheads like yourself don’t like that, but that’s how international politics is. Also there is nothing to be gained by totally cutting yourself off from an important country like the USA, and by implication the whole west.
Nobody insinuated a total cut off, rather aligning yourself with your abusers. On one hand you have China who has immensely benefited both your economy and military without strings attached, while on the other hand you cling to parties that have sanctioned you in the past (as well as now), placing yourself in IMF debt traps, pleading them for aid, praying they don't sell weapons to India or sanction you again for your front line fighters.

The point is: one camp brings you prosperity and development while the other camp brings you enslavement and destruction. Despite this, Pakistan is tilted more towards the latter which also jeopardizes the former. The West does not like a rising China, nor do they like Chinese developments around the globe including in Pakistan. But because Pakistan is so tilted towards the West, they make it easier to delay Chinese work in the country.

Edit:
And because Pakistan has become so dependent on the West, particularly the US, it cannot always make independent decisions anymore. In this regard, it may be even worse than India. Indians refused to sanction Russia in 2022 and took advantage of wholesale discounted Russian oil. Pakistan tried the same with Imran Khan and we all know what happened with that.

I know you are a big fan of IK and you therefore not willing to listen to an alternative point of view. But we on the other side also love Pakistan and want the best for the country.

You can just say you don't have an appropriate response instead of coping with nonsense insinuations that establish nothing. You've made your view clear but haven't really backed it up with anything solid.

Yes, obviously. Iran’s weakness is clear for the entire world to see
I know you want Iran to respond after so many Israeli provocations. But think about this. By simply waiting and doing nothing. They are letting Israel expose all their cards. From hack attacks like the one witnessed today, from weakness towards hypersonic missiles as shown by the houthis. From depleting Israeli resources, from struggling Israeli economy. From worse and worse PR Israel has gotten from the Gaza conflict which would have been forgotten if war with Iran would have started. From unsettling Israelis by constantly being on the radar from their proxies, from making US tired of continuously make excuses for Israel and defend them as support for Israel is waning in the US

And most importantly, biding this time by stocking up Russian and Chinese weaponry, particularly the anti-air systems and advancing their nuclear program.

Iran is playing the long game and winning. I know in the short term, they look weak but don't mistake lack of response for weakness. If Iran retaliated. All those points I've mentioned will be gone to waste.
