See first a Chinese diaspora person go to Nanjing to see all the tourist places like Ming imperial palace, Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, Confucius Temple etc, next thing you know you eat a salted duck and your mind is instantly filled with Xi Jinping Thoughts.
The power of salted duck and magnifience of Chinese Cuisine is truly remarkable-what else does Nnjing/Jiangsu province culinarily have-this foodie wants to know.

Garry Newsome not only shilled for BYD cars but also drove homeless people — most of whom US citizens — out of San Francisco to make the visitation by Xi Jinping palatable. But he gets a free pass because he is not of Chinese descent.

It’s like how Japan thought they’d finally be let into the five eyes, only to be reminded that colored compradors are meant to fight and die for the white Anglo coloniser’s possessions. Or like how during the “summit of democracies” propaganda exercise in 2021, Japan was expected to stand off the platform whilst the white nations all grouped together for their photo shoot. I’m glad Japan like South Korea. Hold face extinction because their Anglo masters are so afraid of East Asian faces and East Asian men that they mandate the destruction of all East Asians in their power. Let this millenium’s version of the jurchens perish for their role in nanjing. The Japanese archipelago will become Chinese yet.

how curious that the Japanese shy away from Fukushima rice. Perhaps feed it to Rahm Emmanuel the U.S. anmbassador to Japan and the American occupying forces?

a long overdue change considering how often these children ended up as woody Allen style abuse victims and victims of human trafficking.
learn to spell"eivor"-it's cross border not cross boarder.

Because US hasn't fought a war since Vietnam, and that war they arguably didn't even win in terms of casualty losses. Their real enemies China + USSR threw Vietnamese bodies and lost only some mercs and a few advisors.

The Type 96, JF-17 and J-10 have also never been destroyed by enemy fire, but only a true moron would brag about it as if it was some feat, they have not been in any war, like the M1 prior to Ukraine.

And honestly if a F-16 stays in Lviv warehouses or even Poland, lifting only very occasionally to intercept some drones and instantly getting shot down, did they actually participate in a war? If a tree falls in a forest where no one sees, did it make a sound?

Yes it's going to be a whole lot different for the US fighting a modern war today. Look at how modern Western tanks are vulnerable to commercial drones. It ain't going to be a one-sided affair especially against a peer adversary. In this thread there was a discussion earlier about Western tanks on Chinese soil... Thinking China is like Iraq or Afghanistan...? They won't be able to stage an armored invasion of China because the ships that will be carrying them will be destroyed before they can land them. Maybe they'll be stupid enough drop to an M1A1 from a C-17. How long will that tank survive without the logistical support that will be underwater sinking...? That's why they wouldn't even try. That's why the entire West won't send their own soldiers to fight Russia in Ukraine. And somehow they think one F-16 will win a war against Russia or China... It's as stupid as when Vietnam acquired something like six Su-30s, better than the ones Russia sold to China, the US was acting like Vietnam could gain air superiority over China. That's the kind of stupid that wrote this article.

A funny fact is Beijing's famous roast duck is very likely originated from Nanjing. Nanjing has its own style of roast duck and the theory is when Emperor Yongle moved the capital from Nanjing to Beijing he bought all the Nanjingese chef with him and that's how roast duck spread to Beijing. The two styles then evolved in parallel resulting in two different styles we see today (Nanjing roast duck doesn't have the crispy skin).

I saw someone else talk about this on Twitter some time ago and someone else in the thread then asked the very reasonable question "why did the emperor move the capital?" to which the person talking about duck said "oh that's a really exciting part of Chinese history, it's got more drama than Game of Thrones".
