agree, we just talk about 五胡＋六国,南北朝Southern and Northern Dynasties,五胡five of chinese nomades entered to china,but finally mix up with Han people,now,Han people not the only ethnicity of Han dynastie,our blood mixed with the five nomades ethnicity genes, Xianbei 鲜卑人taught Hans riding with stirrup.

Since I believe most of us couldn't assess to the document that you have shown, I have just a few questions for you.

1) Who is the general of the expedition?

2) What race was he?

(I believe the general was call Peng Chun, and he is a Han Chinese instead of a Manchu (correct me if I am wrong).)

3) And did a Manchu general or even emperor (Kangxi) actually ordered the killing, raping and whatever evil you chose to call?

4) The overall history of Qing Dynasty in the hands of Kangxi, Yongzhen and Qianlong. Is it better than Ming Dynasty or worst?

Look you cannot just judge something that was already in history by just reading a few documents and declare the entire dynasty and its rulers as evil or things like that. Of course none of us is singing praise to the Manchu, but you must admit that Manchu, like the Han, are Chinese too.

And do not just judge by looking at a few battles, some evil done and things like that. I believe History is often written in BLOOD, for all nations. And even in the Han Dynasty, you can see plenty of evil done... even in Han Wudi's period (I believe I can find some articles to support, but not today, I am pretty tired from a hectic day of work).

Oh... btw, please be clear about this... Han represent the majority population in China now... but the other minorities are also called Chinese. You may choose to call yourself whatever you want, but I believe that does not represent the entire China population.

when i use "chinese"(han),i probably mention the nation(han),if u guys want to talk about Nationality,u guys talk that yourselves.it is none of my business

and today their are more han than ancient local people in Tibet and Xinjiang(if u trace back to Tang Dynasty,there are lots of han in Xinjiang at that time)

why they will be separated,we han is a majority!

if u talk about the the ownership of the region,u'd better ask the majority

Again, Han is NOT the name of the nation!!! No one, I mean NO ONE, calls China as Han. You sure you didn't mean "Hua" as in Chinese 華? "Hua" would be a popular alternative term for China and people DO interchangeably use "Chinese" and "Hua people" when abroad. When Sun Zhongshan started the rebellion against Qing dynasty, he used the call "kicking out the barbarians and give us back Middle Hua". So Hua is another name for Chinese, but Han is NOT. Some usual names that have been used throughout Chinese history to describe China would be "middle kingdom", "Middle earth" (yes, this would be the same term used in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings"), central plain. again, Han is NOT one of them.

The discussion in this thread is way off topic and delving into the realm of ethnic strife.

We cannot tolerate that.
