I think both China & Russia should make a move in Latin America. Otherwise "wannabe factor" US will keep poking here.
I think this being a "Ladakh Flash Point" thread , we are better off not dragging in Latin America. But sooner or later, the west is going to pivot to Latin America ( within 25 years). The only thing keeping them from doing this is the sub-par skilled labor and human resource in the South American continent compared to East Asia .

I am more interested in finding out how India will try to reach out to the West to counter China. India pivoting to the West is better for China in the long run rather than India pivoting to South East Asia. Also, China can play a few cards to inflict regime change in Bhutan. China also need to secure Sri-Lanka ( which has started to slip out to India).

I agree. I wouldn't have posted it if it didn't mention China’s “threats to India” which i thought pointing to current situation.

The US want to station troops in India? Hahahahaha, OMG, that's hilarious! India is welcome to station foreign troops once again, just like British Empire's troops in British Raj.

Wow the fake news and contradictory BS from India is like 100(US+UK)... always knew the Indians are expert liars and purveyors of cheap propaganda but the recent events surprise even me. I guess they got thoroughly rammed and truly feeling inadequate. More so than their usual inferiority complex.

Despite de-escaltion efforts,Ladakh Flash point is becoming a crisis as India has not been able to justify her position on ground and China has held her ground,With thousands of troops deployed in a hostile environment,Ladakh Flash point has the potential to implode due to miscalculations.the Chain of command in high mountains is susceptible to disruption and rumor mongering,at time actions at very low level of Companies and Battalions could trigger response which becomes difficult to manage by senior leadership. What rules of engagements have been passed by Military commanders on both sides remain secret and that's where we find potential for widening of the crisis.
